"this was our second visit to old lisbon and we went with friends who promise you a wonderful culinary experience. when we arrived, the restaurant was 2 3rds full and we sat fast. our waiter took our drink bottle with wine and food orders and we waited for our appetizers to be served. we shared 2 appetizers, as I knew from our last visit that the portion size is large enough to share. the spicy croketts came out in about 15 minutes, but our aubergine bowl did not. Finally we called our waiter and asked where he was, and he claimed that we had never ordered it when it was the first court we ordered and we repeated it twice. as some time was missed, as we have put our orders first, we asked if the reordering of the aubergine dish would disturb our main courses, as we did not want them to be served together. he said no worries so they know what happened next, they almost came together. on a 1 10 scale, the attention of the waiter to the detail would be rated 1 . Apart from the fact that he didn't give up the order, he never visited our table to see if we need anything except we called him. the restaurant added the gratulation to the bill that can be responsible for the bad service. the food was good, but the service was terrible and we will never go after this experience in old lisbon!"

The restaurant was too noisy due to a large anniversary party with their own Spanish traditional band. It was not something we had expected or planned for.

Mediocre food and service. Very disappointing. Ask for menus, get two for 10 people. Ask for a German riesling, get something you didnt order. Ask to change wine, get charged twice. Order best cod, get something dry and chewy. Ask for fast kids meals, wait forever. Order eggplant, get a defrosted meal. After all that, handsome tip off the aftertax amount included in the bill. Zero satisfaction. And zero willingness of staff to make you feel better. Will go elsewhere tomorrow. Sorry.

Our second visit to Old Lisbon with friends was disappointing. The restaurant was 2/3 full when we arrived and we were seated quickly. Our waiter took our drink and food orders, and we waited for our appetizers. We ordered 2 appetizers to share, but only one came out in a timely manner. After questioning the waiter, he claimed we never ordered the second dish, despite us mentioning it twice. We reordered it, but unfortunately, both appetizers came out at the same time. The waiter had poor attention to detail and rarely checked on us throughout the meal. The added gratuity to the bill possibly explained the lack of service.
