Hooper's Crab House

Hooper's was a last minute choice and didn't necessarily seek this place out I was with a group of 12 with kids and needed a place that 1.

My family was looking for a touristy place to eat some crabs, so what better place than Hoopers!? We went early on a weeknight so we didn't catch the dinner

Very cute spot on the bay side. Its was really nice that they have boats that you can sit and eat dinner on. The fish tacos were really good. Food came out quick no wait. The lobster bisque soup was good as well. I would go back here again. Prices were good not bad at all. Visualizza piatti

We got the all you can eat option. Plenty of food as you can see, service was fast. Great night time atmosphere. The quality of food : hush puppies were amazing, fried chicken was delicious, shrimp was severely over cooked practically unable to shell, crabs are great but not worth the hassle unless you plan on sitting there for a few hours to fill up. Staff was very friendly.

We stop at the restaurant because we liked the outside decor. The crew was welcoming and inside decor was phenomenal as well. We ate too much and left satisfied. The view is beautiful and the waitress was very attentive to our wishes. Sea food is messy to eat and we had to crack open so many shells, but it was worth it. The only thing that didn?t require cracking was the excellent Caesar salad????

There is a lot to like about Hooper's Crab Shack. Our party tried a number of different items and we all shared them. I am happy to report that everything was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The service was also very good. A cool feature was that you could order a beer in a take home plastic cup and then get refills on a discount. I will visit again when I am in Ocean City. Such a great experience. So much fun hitting huge delicious crabs ???? with a wooden hammer. Then dipping them into tons of butter!Great seasoning and lots of fantastic crabmeat! Love this place. It's a perfect spot for vacationing families or locals! They also make delicious frozen Margheritas! The staff is outstanding as well! We were seated by such a wonderful hostess named Hannah! Came here with my husband for his birthdays we were both very impressed with everything. The food was very fresh and very well cooked. The snow crab legs came out of the shell with ease. The blue crabs were sweet and tender. The lobster was slightly chewy but the taste was great. The crab cake was very tasty and had big pieces of crab in it. My first night , I had the all you can eat . It was all brought out in one platter and looked great. Decided to end our week at OCMD, and go back to Hoopers. Again, I chose the all you can eat . Presentation this time was poor. Several hush puppies and one small piece of chicken in a basket were brought out. Next some crabs were brought out and dumped out in front of me. Seemed I had to wait for each item. Corn was not as tasty this time either. Not sure whose decision on how the meal is to be served , but it was more enjoyable when it was all in one platter.
