This place is massive for a co-op. It's a great store with alot to choose from at decent prices. The food area made a great grilled cheese sandwich.

Everything you could possibly want from a grocer. Local, organic produce. Local, sustainable products. Well maintained and well stocked. Health-conscious items galore.

There were plenty of meat options available, but they also offered a few vegan and vegetarian choices, which were surprisingly delicious. The sandwiches were quite unique and tasted great as well. The prices were reasonable, especially for a co-op. Visualizza piatti

As mentioned in those reviews below, this is a co-op (also opens to non-member) selling food and with food ready to go. The vege lasagna we had was really good. You pay the price by weight. We had some salads as well and it all made up around 9 dollars. Good price!

Low key racist. I was a member I No longer give them my business. During the mask mandate (2020)they threatened to call police on me Onmy way OUT the door after Already Paying for my food. Same day Montpelier police calls me saying I'm banned. Fyi I haveAsthma so mask restrict my airways. No bueno...I'll never step foot inside Again

The salad bar is excellent, but the hot food selection is even better, catering perfectly to vegans and vegetarians. I especially enjoy the rice with marinated tofu and steamed greens. They also offer roast potatoes and garlic cauliflower; while the sides change regularly, they almost always have the delicious tofu and rice available. Visualizza piatti

The best local Coop. I?ve been a member for years and while I?ve frequented other Coops, they never seem to measure up to HM. I appreciate supporting our local farmers and small businesses. Love the produce department! And I?m also impressed that I canfind a ton of GF products! I appreciate the helpful staff and they are always so kind. I don?t live as close as I used to but Istill travel in to make purchases.

Decent selections and great hot food bar. Get rid of the Joe's soups. No flavor. The thing that has turned me off about the coop is the prepared food grab and go portions are very small and very expensive. I can't justify paying almost $8 for a smallamount of tuna nicoise that is 50% celery, parsley and onions. Small dessert is over $6. Great gluten free options. I agreewith previous reviews alot of the staff is cranky and lack social etiquette with the customers. For a co-op they are paid wellwith amazing benefits so one would think management would look to hire people who are outwardly kind with great personalities.

I 've been shopping here since I was a teenager. I 've always loved the selections of fresh organic produce. I love the deli and basically everything about the store. The only reason I 'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the lack of produce research done for some of the organic produce that is being sold. I recently found out that the honeycrisp apples are coated with a product called Apeel, which is controversial and has very little reputable research behind it. If you go to their website they are NOT very transparent in how they make Apeel, they only keep repeating that it 's safe . Not sure how anything can be called organic with substances being added to it that are not considered org... Visualizza piatti
