The experience was decent—the sushi was just okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here since I can get sushi from Pick 'n Save. However, the service was definitely the highlight of the visit.

Went in on a Saturday night at 5:00 with a party of 8 and had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated (they do not take reservations . The wait, however, was worth it. This small restaurant left a big impact with its cozy space, quick service, and delicious food! For starters, we ordered the pork buns and gyoza. The buns were fluffy and soft, and the pork belly was tender and juicy. The gyoza was modestly sized with a nice crispy bottom and tender veggies inside. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary edamame appetizer right away, which was great! I really enjoyed their soy sauce, or maybe it was mirin? It had a slightly sweet flavor that paired nicely with the edamame. The hostess greeted us with a big smile and was very friendly and accommodating. The service throughout our meal was good and timely; they checked on us without being overbearing, striking the perfect balance. In Bay View, we don't have many fantastic Asian eateries, so now that I'm aware of their special vegan menu, I look forward to returning and trying more dishes.
