Have been a few times and the food is always fantastic. Nice spot in downtown Peterborough. Will be back again for sure!!

They were in the middle of a change over from foodie cuisine to pub food. We had thought we were going for the food and were disappointed. The setting is lovely and service was awesome. It just wasn’t what we were looking for

This is a good place to go out for dinner. There was nothing special but the service was good and the staff send nice. They have a decent selection for beer and spirits. Menu is not big which is a good thing and the food was tasty. I would go back but it is not my first choice.

Actually, we had a great time tonight as the first visitor. The staff that served us was super polite and friendly, with exactly the right amount of casual posture to avoid forming. Of course we appreciated that. Since it was our five-year anniversary, of course we had some expectation, but it was a new restaurant for us. We were definitely satisfied! Burgers, chicken and beef both, we absolutely phenomenal. Fries were also surprisingly good: even better than Pommes are usually, of course. Add the server (I think owners might also? gave us a free desert that was both unexpected and delicious. Altogether, a great night and we will be happy to go back there. Thank you.

Be prepared to wait for a long time at this restaurant. During our visit, we were the only customers there and couldn't understand why. The ambiance was nice, the menu looked appealing, and the service was excellent. It took three hours for more diners to arrive, but the restaurant still remained relatively empty. We waited an hour for our appetizer, another hour for our main course, and even longer for dessert. Despite the staff comping our dessert for the long wait, the overall wait time was unacceptable. The food was delicious once it arrived, but the owner should consider modifying the kitchen process to reduce wait times or inform customers that it is meant to be a leisurely dining expe...

Visited hunter street tavern for a casual night with my wife. Warm atmosphere with friendly enthusiastic staff. Unique, but approachable wine list with enough options for someone looking to try something new as well as some classic old and new world blends. The menu had a great selection of pub classics with a modern twist. My biggest problem was trying to decide what to have. I settled on the fried cauliflower followed by a burger and fries accompanied by a hoppy California ale. Cauliflower had a light and crispy batter topped with gently pickled jalapeños that left us fighting over the final bits.
