"During my first visit to In the Red Wine Bar, I was welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The dim lighting created a cozy ambiance, and the delicious scents of the food filled the air. On this occasion, however, my group of five arrived early and the experience was not as magical. The owner was clearly having a tough day, as he had not received the wines we had ordered and mentioned he did not have some items available at the moment. Despite the challenges, he did his best to make it work. Although there were some mishaps, such as forgetting an order and warning us about slow service, we still enjoyed the wine and savory food that was served. Despite the rough start, we had a great time and plan to return on a better day."

The restaurant could use an update in terms of furniture and space. However, the food was excellent and the wine selection was fantastic. Our server was exceptional, taking on multiple roles but still providing great service with a smile and a skip in his step. Well done!

Quaint Wine Bar. Definitely a hidden gem, while still rough around the edges in parts it was a nice find and we've been back a few times. The wine is solid and not overpriced like other bars. The food is pretty tasty. When the place is packed, the service starts to slow but that's expected. Great place to people watch and enjoy a bottle of vino. Visualizza piatti

We enjoyed a flavorful and varied cheese plate with a generously poured glass of exceptional red. Followed by a shared Cesar salad and a hummus plate. Oh, and several more glass of wine. All the food was well presented and delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. We sat outside because it was blazing hot and it was a little loud, but that didn't keep us from having a lovely time.

We were searching for a great restaurant north of Ballard on a Friday night where we could have a conversation and we found it! The food was delicious, from the generous and well-presented charcuterie platter to the smoked sardines and roasted dates. Currently a wine bar, but soon to be expanding to a full bar. We visited on Art Walk night, so the atmosphere was delightful. We will definitely be returning soon.
