"Huong Sen has a large menu featuring at least a dozen or more vegan dishes, but the quality of the food is terrible. The curried tofu was bland, mucky and overcooked; the black mushrooms with broccoli was greasy, bland and heavy. The food reminded me of two-day old cafeteria buffet items all mush and awful. Worse yet, the place is expensive at around $9-12 per dish; most Vietnamese restaurants in the area are not only cheaper, but give better food and larger portions. Even their tea had gone stale and was one of those 2-cent varieties you find in the discount bins of Asian stores. While the service was friendly, the atmosphere of the restaurant was dull and dark and they keep the heat low, so I had to wear my jacket while inside there! Huong Sen is not to be recommended, especially when the Twin Cities have so many other great Vietnamese restaurants."

My experience was absolutely incredible. Amazing food and huge portions. I have the Pho Combo, nothing shy of amazing.

The menu is big. Service and atmosphere was ok. I had the Pho, which was good. I have had better. The pork egg rolls were large and delicious.

It's just so good. You get so much food for a good price. The staff were never so friendly and nice. We love this place. Please spend money here.

My usual order includes the cute soup and vegetarian spring rolls to share with a friend, along with the hot and spicy tofu that should be enjoyed alone. The soup and spring rolls make for a delightful lunch together. Visualizza piatti

Here’s a revised version of the restaurant review: "The dish featured tofu and a sweet sauce served over rice. While it may not be extraordinary, it's a solid choice. This review has been updated since the previous one on April 12, 2018."

There is only one other review for Indochina and it actually for the restaurant that was located in the same place Huong Sen. I have only had take out at Indochina a couple of times but both times it was very good. All the veggies were fresh and not at all over cooked. Great sauces. Good prices.

Excellent service, food and staff. Eat for the first time and will not be our last. I ordered the pad to see ew with tofu and absolutely love it. My husband got the hot and spicy chicken, will definitely have leftovers, but we love this in our house. What I enjoyed most was the egg drop soup, I loved it as I was a child and I always order and quite disappointed at most restaurants, but that's the best I had so far! So many complex flavors in a simple dish. Can't wait back! Visualizza piatti

Edit 10/10/22: this place had been under new ownership for a few years now and it's not as good. Also seems not as Vietnamese, and more Thai. Service has taken a hit, and the food is more generic and uninspired. Original review: Best Vietnamese restaurant I've been to in the twin cities. I appreciate the little touches: the fried shallots, the two types of pork on the rice noodle salad, the pickled radish and carrot. The grilled meats are recognizable and actually grilled chunks of meat. It's not hugely different from other Vietnamese restaurants, but it's a little better and a little more thoughtful. Update: according to the owner, Andrew Zimmern agrees with me that this is the best Vietnam...

we were too indochin for a late lunch and ordered vegetarian early rolls as an appetizer. They were okay. there were some items as a combination lunch special, but we ordered from the whole menu. the derées we ordered were delicious. we got hot and spicy tofu, which was a boil of perfectly boiled tofu (herbs on the outside) on crispy, perfectly stir fried carrots, brokkoli, tweepers, snow bses and caulis. the sauce was spicy and sweet and fantastic. the other court was kung pao mock duck. the mock duck had a great texture; it wasn't rubbery as mock can sometimes be. it was fried with carrots, celery, mais, carrots, red paprika, fruits and other vegetables in a delicious sauce. both dishes we...
