The salmon nigiri and other dishes were incredible. They provided a generous amount of soy sauce without me even asking, and the service was excellent. I would love to see lunch sushi specials; if they had them, I’d be here every day! However, the prices are reasonable as they are.

I absolutely love Iron Sushi ? ! It is my go to place for take out. The food is delicious and fresh. My favorite is the salmon nigiri ? and the Tobiko. The value is fantastic and the service is friendly. The parking in the area can be tricky so I suggest the near by parking garage if you are eating in.

Used to be my favorite sushi place in Sobe. However they recently changed the menu and is far from good. Also i had to wait for more than 40 minutes for the most simple dish. Unfortunately i would not recommend this place anymore and i hope they return to the original menu. Very disappointed to say the least.

The staff here was super nice, but I’m pretty sure this restaurant served me raw pork.I don’t eat fish, but I love Japanese food and I tend to order whatever unusual non-fish roll a restaurant offers. Here at Iron, I ordered the Latin roll (with fried chicken) and the roll that had “stewed pork.”The Latin roll was ok, but on first bite of the pork roll, something felt and tasted off. I took a closer look at the roll and noticed that the pork was shiny and still pretty pink. But I thought maybe it was just the not-very-good lighting in the place, so I ate another slice. Little whole in the wall, on a sketchy street. We were the only ones in there on a Saturday evening(6pm). Inside is narrow and probably accommodating for 15 max for dine in. We sat and chatted for quite some time and no one ever came to take our order. When I signal the Chef and let him know we were ready, he said we had to come up to the cashier counter. Ohh , ok . We also had to pay right after which is not unusual if u were doing take out but we were dining in and what if we didn 't enjoy it and wanted to tip accordingly?
