"I've been to Hudson Valley Steakhouse for both Happy Hour at the bar and for dinner. The food menu at the bar is limited but great selection. I tried something recommended by a friend, carrot chips. I don't know what I was expecting but these wereamazing! So much so, I didn't want to share. I even order them for dinner though they are not on the dinner menu. Other favesare Applewood Smoked Bacon app, Wedge Salad, Tomahawk Steak for 2 and HV potatoes. Friends tell me the seafood apps are alsogood. I'm allergic to shellfish so did not try any. It's on the pricey side but worth every penny. I suggest going for specialoccasions or date night. The staff is friendly, attentive and accomodating."

"The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. We ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese and Shrimp Scampi with Linguini, and the pasta in both dishes was cooked to perfection—just the right amount of al dente! The Bolognese was hearty with plenty of meat, and while I found the scampi sauce delicious, I would have preferred a bit more garlic. Each dish came with a side salad, and we were welcomed with bread as soon as we sat down. The service was excellent and very friendly. I rated the atmosphere three stars mainly because the acoustics left something to be desired, resulting in a noisy environment. Nevertheless, despite the noise level, we will definitely be back!"

"We started with a seafood salad that combined freshly squeezed citrus and olive oil with shrimp, crab, and calamari. It was incredibly fresh and had a delightful, refreshing taste. Next, we enjoyed a salad of baby arugula, dried cranberries, blue cheese crumbles, red onion, candied pecans, and sliced pears, topped with creamy balsamic vinaigrette. This was paired with skirt steak, which was cooked to perfection—again, very fresh and delicious. We also tried grilled Spanish chorizo and shrimp sautéed in garlic and olive oil, served over potatoes, and it was simply wonderful. The menu is small, but the daily specials are enticing. We definitely plan to return!"

"If you’re someone who enjoys mediocrity look no further. This is the best place for bland food and slow service. My eggplant wrap had ingredients on it that I didn’t ask for, and my husbands chicken cutlet wedge had zero flavor. Even though the place was next to empty, it took the woman working behind the counter a solid 10 minutes to even acknowledge our presence and hand us our order which we had called in BTW. Needless to say, we won’t be returning unless there’s a zombie apocalypse and every deli closes, except for this one…"

"This restaurant is very humble and easy to miss if you are not paying attention. However, if you like Middle Eastern food, it is worth making the effort to visit. We got the lamb gyro and a lamb wrap for a quick snack, and also bought some pantry items. The meat was flavorful and the pickles and sauce complemented it well. In addition, the prices are fair and the service is friendly. Just note that they open at 2:30pm if you are planning to go for lunch. Overall, it is a local spot that I would definitely recommend supporting."
