This is an unforgettable experience not to be missed. Sitting in the kitchen watching the perfectly choreographed preparations and service adds another dimension to the story of each delicious bite.

The food was excellent with the exception of the highly recommended risotto with white truffles. That was overcooked and the white truffles not really aromatic. A real disappointment for such an expensive and highly recommended dish. I should have sent it back but decided not to as I was a guest.

Unfortunately this 3 Michelin star restaurant did NOT meet expectations. The “Wagu” was the chewiest meat I had ever tried to eat. And I having NYC rats of the sky (pigeon/squab) was absolutely disgusting. Also wasn’t too impressed with some of the other dishes. The best was the bread and mashed potatoes. It would have been a good experience at $300 for 2 instead of $600 for what it was. Ridiculously overpriced. We barely ate anything. That $300 white truffle risotto had so little truffles you could barely taste them and the dish itself was the size of an amuse bouche. The steak was delicious thought, incredibly tender. Bad selection of wine by the glass. I had to settle for a glass of burgundy, I would have loved a good glass of Bordeaux but their only choice was quite terrible. We still had a good night even though the tiny risotto price is hard to swallow.

Such amazing flavors. The service was as at another level. Seeing the open kitchen, it was like a diner and a show. One course reminded us of a Caribbean vacation meal. The following course was an amazing play on flavors. 5 course meal even though we were just a walk up and we just ordered apps and dinner. It feels like they are having fun playing with flavors to surprise us with what they can do. the service and the atmosphere feels like you are over a friend's house that's a fantastic chef. It really is difficult to hit a home run on the food and the service. This place did it. I am so happy to say it is our new number one. And we have eaten everywhere in New York.

This could very well be the best meal of my life. Just WOW! From the moment they welcome you in and sit you down to the moment you leave, every thing is orchestrated in perfect timing. Honestly there are no words to describe the magnificence of the food, from the table-side butter service, the bread cart, ossetra caviar, foie gras, the Wagyu, the mashed potatoes were like nothing I’ve eaten before, to the last drop of amazing French wine, absolutely every dish was luxurious, every dish was perfection! So hard to pick a favorite. The servers obviously were masters of their craft, the restaurant is gorgeous! Just grateful to be lucky enough to have these types of experiences. 20/10 Food: 5 Ser...
