KFC has changed quite a bit over the years. The chicken breast I had was tough, and the leg and thigh were lacking in flavor.

I didn’t expect much, but I stopped here for a snack when I was ravenous and thought, why not try a Nashville Hot? I was pleasantly surprised! It was fresh out of the fryer, perfectly crispy, and had just the right amount of spice that made me want more. I really enjoyed the salty crunch of the chicken, the tangy dill pickle, and the heat all in one bite. Definitely a two thumbs up! I'll be back for more.

I ended up throwing away the new chicken sandwich I bought because it was dry and unappetizing. The chicken was unevenly shaped and squished, completely different from what was depicted in the commercials! This feels like false advertising, and I believe there are regulations against that in U.S. food advertising. I do not recommend the KFC on 17 Mile. They advertised a "10 for $10" deal on chicken, but I ended up being charged $18.99. They also failed to include the fries I requested as a side and only provided me with one of my sides. Additionally, when I ordered a 3-piece combo, they mistakenly gave me two pieces instead of three. I find it hard to believe how poor their customer service is. I will not be returning and would rather drive further to a different location!

Long, slow line to order outside at 2 pm; ok since it was a very nice day. Ordered the #1 meal: 2 pieces of dark meet, original, with mashed potatoes, biscuit and cookie. No dark meat left, so ok get white meat original. No original left, only extra crispy. Fine! I'd already had a disappointing experience across the street at Big Boy. Pay and retrieve my order. Their tray is so sticky I had to peel my bagged order off the tray. Get home, no cookie no cutlery. Poor planning on managements part to run out of popular items early in the afternoon. Cookie and cutlery not a big deal, but for Pete's sake, those should be no brain add-ons. Won't go back.

KFC on 17 Mile in Cedar Springs is your typical Colonel Sanders franchise. It’s not a place you visit for a gourmet meal, especially not more than once. While the chicken is claimed to have 36 herbs and spices, it’s often overcooked by about 10 minutes, served cold, and incredibly greasy. The biscuits are particularly disappointing—hard as hockey pucks and as cold as an indifferent hug. If they can’t melt butter on them, they’re simply unappetizing. As for the vegetables, they’re canned and unappetizing. On the positive side, the restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly, which is nice—though you could say the same about many hospitals.
