"Krekels is the place to be in Decatur! Krekels Custard is a beloved local burger and ice cream spot, celebrated for its fantastic food. The prices here are incredibly reasonable, making all meals quite budget-friendly. You can choose from single, double, or even triple burgers, which are grilled and flattened, reminiscent of Steak 'n Shake's signature steakburgers. My mom worked here in the 1970's so I was going here since I was a young girl. I haven't been home in years but I will be moving back soon and this will be a first stop so I can get a lemon cone. My favorite and can't find it anywhere else. Can't WAIT.
