"I never thought there could be a bad pizza or bad donut. It 's more that it 's just not the BEST you 've ever had. And that 's the case with my experience at The Jelly Donut. I 've had this bookmarked on my list cuz of its high 4.5 star rating. I got my typical fave, glazed twist and an Apple fritter. I could taste the oil and fried ness of the donuts and personally that 's not my preferred taste when eating my donuts. I like a light yet thick fluffy doughnut. Later I tried the Apple fritter and again could taste the oil and fried batter. There wasn 't much cinnamon or apples inside. I did end up throwing the rest away because I had to cut my losses of calories vs enjoyment.From the wise words of my bf Was the juice worth the bite? And my answer unfortunately would be No, not worth it today. So sorry Jelly Donut."

"Arrived a little late to our 12:30pm reservation to outside. We sat down outside around 12:40pm, and got waters but a server never approached us or welcomed us in. We sat for 40mins and received nothing but water while new tables came and were being served. Needless to say, we left. My friend and I were very disappointed because our last time was very good with excellent service."

"I recently dined at Shangri-La Chinese restaurant in Dublin, CA where I tried their lemon chicken and fried vegetable egg rolls. The egg rolls were slightly overcooked, but still tasty with a crispy crunch from the lumpia shells they used. They came with a spicy mustard and sweet and sour sauce. The lemon chicken, however, was not what I expected. Instead of chunks of chicken tossed in lemon seasoning and fried, it was chicken bites with a lemon-flavored sauce that resembled sweet and sour sauce in color. Despite the unexpected presentation, the sweetness of the lemon sauce made it delicious. The fried rice and sautéed vegetables served with the lemon chicken were average in taste. The restaurant was busy with customers even though it had only been open for 20 minutes. Overall, if I ever crave Chinese food again, I would definitely return to Shangri-La."

"Very average breakfast. The omelette was very bland that needed salt badly. (My flavor) Some may like it like that. Hash browns were ok. Too soft and undercooked in the center for my taste. The top and bottom of the hash browns were perfect but not the center. Toast was good and very good customer service. Very helpful. I would definitely try them again with a different dish. Probably the Chicken Fried Steak."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."
