"All I know is if you come here, be ready to wait. My family had a very simple order, one pizza and cheese sticks. We placed it at 6:24pm and were given a 75 minute wait time. Understandable, so we show up at 7:45 and we’re told it would be another 15-20 minute wait. After waiting those 20 minutes we go back in and ask for an update to which we were told “15-20 more minutes.” Having a long wait time is understandable but when there is no communication within the business it’s extremely aggravating. After waiting 30 more minutes we go inside and try to ask what’s going on, when one of the employees tells everyone “your food is coming, remember they are just kids” and proceeds to aggressively do her job. Maybe the owner shouldn’t hire kids who have no idea what’s going on. I am genuinely not being deceitful, but the two girls at the front have no idea what’s going on, ever. Many families were mad and leaving, locals said “it’s always like this,” and I have no will to give another penny to this business. To be completely honest I would suggest saving yourself the trouble and going to Michelangelo’s instead!"

Too crowded in parking lot at the wrong time the evening..difficulty getting the parking lot.Pizza and Stromboli had good flavor but not cooked enough

This is our favorite pizza spot in Carteret County! We have been coming here for 12 years. Our go-to order is the Godfather pizza and garlic knots (which are big!) along with a 2-liter drink. Everyone leaves happy and satisfied. They also offer chocolate cannolis, which can be hard to find. If you're looking for authentic New York style pizza, this is the place to go.

In my 33 years on this earth I’ve searched for quality pizza everywhere I go. Lazzara’s is right around the top of the pile for good New York style pizza. The real stunner at this place though, as others have mentioned is the garlic knots. At $1.50 per, they are huge, soft, doughy, garlicky puffs of absolute delight. The pizza is some of the best I’ve had in a very long time, but we’ll be stopping back for a box of the garlic knots to dip in marinara. Edit: we stopped back for the knots and a white pizza. It’s every bit as good as the pepperoni.

"Now I remember why I don 't go here... Aside from the prices typically being twice the price of other places I go Strike 1, the one thing I went there for was the only thing not stocked. Strike 2, the first person I asked to check if they had in backbrought out something else that was not the same and cost twice as much as what I was looking for. Strike 3. I asked someone ina different department if there was someone working in the meat department and they said, there should be, just yell in backfor help and they should come out ... Needless to say no one came out. About 3 minutes later someone from another departmentcame over looking for someone in the meat department to help me and they could not find anyone so I left since I did not havetime to wait since I had to get back to get my kid ready for school. Strike 4, when I went to check out for the one item Idecided to get for my kid while I was there, there was an issue where their systems were not reading the loyalty card numbers,so they used the store card... Very nice of them not to give the points to their customers, granted I have always had issueswith their loyalty cards from the beginning, but usually I can at least use it. Strike 5, the one item I wanted to check outwith the system said you cannot purchase this item and to have someone ring it up. Apparently the bar codes on produce don 'twork properly and are deceiving... That 's according to the employee. But.... I was told to have a nice day by the lady that hadto help for two things at self check out for one item because their systems were not working properly. I guess it 's good theyare in the grocery business instead of baseball. Everyone needs to eat, but I don 't think they would keep fans if they can 't geta hit."

"We ordered smoothies which were amazing! But apparently they are very hard to make because the girls at the front were very sarcastic and rude. They acted as if making our smoothie was the hardest task in the world. I know there are some things thatsuck while working, speaking from someone in the food industry myself, but these girls made my family and I feel belittled andun-welcomed. They were very clear to each other about whose turn it was to take on this insurmountable task of making oursmoothies. We left quickly."
