"A cafe with great potential that doesn 't follow through.I paid $22 for the world 's saddest sandwich, a salad consisting of nothing but undressed spinach leaves, a croissant that tasted supermarket-bought and a Dunkin '-quality coffee that tasted overwhelmingly like chocolate milk, but still somehow overwhelmed me with caffiene. I 'm glad I didn 't get the $7 avocado toast, I 'm a little scared to see how it is.Suffering from an identity crisis, the place really wants to be a hip-stir cafe with innovative drinks and trendy food and visuals, and falls short of all those things due to its location clientele, one of whom I saw shocked and afraid when told they could put oak or almond milk in their coffee. I feel like the only thing that gets them through the door has to be the back the blue sign- they are people who don 't know what a decent cafe is, because a decent cafe doesn 't feel the need to bring politics into their food.If you want a real hipster cafe with good food, go 15-20 minutes to Utica Coffee in Clinton or Utica, or Copperccino 's, Superofficial or Spressos in Rome. If you 're stuck in Oneida, you 're better off just going to the local Dunkin '."

"What a gem! Was heading from Rome to Syracuse for a show, and made a plan to stop by for an early dinner...glad we did! This place has won awards for their burgers, and I can taste why... I had the Cowboy Burger bacon, onion/bacon jam, and potato strings voted a top ten burger in 2022...let me tell you, this was incredible! The beef was fresh and cooked perfectly, the onion bacon jam was slightly sweet and smoky, and the slices of bacon were, well, bacon...good with everything! But truthfully the addition of the potato strings put it over the top. These crispy, super thin fried potatoes gave the burger such an amazing texture contrast...just amazing! My wife had the JJ Burger, which is Mac n cheese on the burger...I tasted the Mac, and it was rich and creamy definitely homemade. The French fries were also homemade...they did not come out of a bag frozen and dropped in the oil. These are not fast food fries..but they are the perfect middle ground of crisp and potato ey. Lastly, I will say it's a pricier burger, but it's excellent quality food, and a lot of it. I have no issue with the price whatsoever for food of this quality...worth it for sure. It's a smaller place, and I can picture it packed for lunch with the municipal building complex that surrounds the area. It was clean and humble, and it's clear they know what they are doing. The waitress was efficient and nice...brought me a refill before I asked...very attentive. In short, great food...I wish I lived closer...but we'll be back for sure! Vegetarian options: There was a veggie burger on the menu. Wheelchair accessibility: All one floor with easy wheelchair access."

"Awesome! Almost every time, and that's for real. My Beer Battered Haddock Sandwich for six bucks is the size of a dinner, and perfect always. So much of anything you want, all of the best original drive in food, but thrice as good as fast food! Real food at a real decent price. French dips, great local skin on dogs and burgers. Just a delicious and fun place. Nobody always gets it perfect, but Nicky comes close for what it is. Americana Food. This is as close as you can come"

"The staff were extremely friendly and consistently checked in every 8 to 10 minutes to ensure our drinks were filled and that we had everything we needed. The food was not only served quickly but was also delicious. The restaurant was clean, and all the staff greeted us with smiles, saying hello and good morning, which created a lovely atmosphere. **Parking**: There’s plenty of free parking available. **Kid-friendliness**: The restaurant is very kid-friendly, with staff who are accommodating and provide coloring books and crayons for the little ones."

"Love it! The food and service are wonderful!It is such a quaint hometown feel. The serving sizes are just right, and the desserts are delicious! Parking: There is parking along the front and plenty in the plaza directly behind the restaurant. There is also an entrance from both areas that make it very convenient, especially with our upstate weather. Kid-friendliness: In the spring and summer, the ice cream shop is connected to the restaurant. It's a hot spot after practice and games. There is an outdoor walk-up window with some seating outside. They even put water out for the dogs."
