Nice historic building. The servers didn't know which end was up. Food was mediocre at best. Chicken bacon and lettuce sandwich was SO Salty I couldn't eat it. Limp cold fries. Awful.

Didn't have items listed on blackboard . Told it was old items and they just never erased it. Took forever to get waited on. They were out of the beer my husband wanted. Didn't get the drink menu. Weren't sure they had all items on menu Very bad experience. ?

The food is overpriced for the quality. While the building itself is stunning, it could definitely use some cleaning. There are plenty of other fantastic dining options in town. Awesome old house, super friendly host, server and manager. Walked in to them talking a picture of a new drink for social media, I asked what it was and they gave it to me, it was delicious. Food was great, fish and chips were super crispy, husband loved the wings. Kids ate every bite of their pizza and hamburger. The red cabbage coleslaw was the best I've had!!

A complete disappointment. Went with our family on a Sunday afternoon. Out of milk, Out of house chips, one mimosa came out but then informed they were now out of prosecco?! Dirty plates and food took forever. A major disappointment for what should be a great restaurant. Maybe their deliveries come on a Monday? I'm hoping things improve.....they've been here since 1927

Great first experience at Ligonier Tavern. The food was great, we had a Cuban Reuben and the fish and chips. Everything was great, but I will tell you their fresh cut fries are fantastic and worth the trip for those alone. Alana our server was great, friendly and on top of things with our order. Thank you Alana for helping make our visit memorable. Parking: Depending on what happens to be going on in town, parking could be a little difficult. My family and I stopped here for dinner after a day at Idlewild. Very cool old house with a lot of history. I believe we got there right after it opened for the day. No one else was in the restaurant. The food was fine. Nothing sticks out as good or bad. Our server was super accommodating and friendly. We had two small kids with us. No complaints about the kids menus. FYI the restrooms we were directed to were up a long flight of stairs. I don’t know if they have facilities on the first floor. I didn’t ask. I would go back.

We decided to stop by for a pre-dinner drink, and the bar turned out to be a cozy little spot with just eight stools. It's quite compact since the main focus here is the restaurant. We arrived early, so there weren't many people around yet. The bar features a large wooden counter with a TV above it, along with a few high-top tables in the area. Unfortunately, the upper balcony was closed at that hour. The bartender was friendly and prepared decent basic cocktails, but the prices felt a bit on the high side. We considered ordering an appetizer to enjoy with our drinks, but ultimately decided against it because of the cost.

On our first visit, the food was decent, but I expected more for the price. The waitstaff made an effort to be friendly, but their attire resembled that of a hot dog stand rather than what you'd expect in a nicer restaurant. Each server seemed to wear whatever they wanted, which I don't blame them for; it appears to be the owner's choice. The highlight of our meal was the water—it was infused with citrus and I absolutely loved it! However, the paper straws did present some sensory issues for me. My husband also felt rushed because our server was ending their shift, even though they reassured him not to hurry. We’ll definitely give this place another try. Visualizza piatti
