Our server Racheal was wonderful. Very accommodating for 4 adults with a small child. Menu and wine selection was impressive. Food was pricey but worth it in this area. Food here was amazing!!! Service was amazing and the portion sizes were huge! I got the lamb chops which were perfectly prepared to temp. My friends got the steak and fried rice and all were amazing! I’d make that 4 hour trip from VA to PA to eat here again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

This elegant steakhouse exudes the charm of a classic New York City establishment that’s been around for a century. It has a sophisticated old-school atmosphere, and while the prices are on the higher side, the experience justifies the cost. The restaurant isn’t very big, so be sure to make a reservation. Not really sure where to start. The place is overpriced for the quality of the food that is served here. I ordered my steak medium and it came out rare. The same with the other two people in my party. The steak also had a really funny and indescribable smell to it. I don't know if it was the seasoning they used or aging process but it was very unappetizing. The baked potato was overcooked and dry. The only saving grace is the staff were incredibly nice. The quality of the food does not match the price.

This was my third visit to Louie's, and once again, dinner was perfect, just like the last two times. From my experience, many restaurants in the Poconos are more casual and less refined compared to those in New York City. However, if you're seeking a fine dining experience in an environment that isn't too formal or stuffy, I highly recommend Louie's (my other favorite would be Windsor at Skytop). The steaks here are outstanding, and the Chicken Florentine, which is stuffed with spinach and cheese, was absolutely delicious!
