"Our server, Michelle, ignored us several times, only stopping by once to refill our water. Finally, two hours into our visit, our meals arrived, and our server actually asked the member with the soy allergy if they wanted GLUTEN-FREE SOY SAUCE. Yes, you read that right; I was just as shocked. I ordered the Kraken Roll for a steep price of $16, only to be disappointed by a small, lackluster roll. To make matters worse, some of the rolls came with blue-tinted rice, which indicates they're starting to go bad. As we were eating, our server had the nerve to ask if we were enjoying our meal. After they accidentally served my partner a cucumber roll instead of what they ordered, we decided to leave the table and go outside. Honestly, if I were stranded on a deserted island and this food were dropped to me by a rescue team, I would rather drink the seawater. The only redeeming factors were the appetizers and the other diners who seemed to find humor in the chaos that the staff had created. Save yourself the trouble and don’t eat at Iya unless you want to be entertained by the inexperienced staff and their failed attempts to provide service."

"Randomly popped in here starving after a long day of traveling and had one of the juiciest decadent burgers I’ve had in a long time. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t want to eat this burger everyday…which means it’s a burger done right. They even had a gluten free bread option which was surprisingly perfect with the burger. Just dense enough to soak up the juice and not fall apart. I got the spicy jalapeño burger. So good. They usually fry them but I asked for them regular because of my gluten allergy. It was delicious. The server and the owner were also super nice people. Check this place if you want a simple local experience, nice people, and a great burger."

"As for the sushi, the pieces were a good size, fresh, and had a generous amount of wasabi, which I love. The service was outstanding on both occasions we visited. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which really stood out to me. I don't often emphasize service in my reviews, but I can't stress this enough! Whether they were genuinely happy or just excellent at their jobs, the servers created a warm atmosphere. I hope the management treats them well because they truly deserve it! I have only two recommendations for improvement: 1. They need Wi-Fi! This is a pet peeve of mine, and I would really appreciate having some basic Wi-Fi for customers, especially since cell service was poor—T-Mobile and Verizon were barely getting one bar. 2. It would be great to see a bao option on the menu. While I loved the tacos, I’m a fan of steamed pork belly buns before a bowl of ramen—maybe I'm just influenced by Momofuku, but they’re hard to resist! Overall, I give this place a perfect 10/10 and can’t wait to return. As for accessibility, the entrance and interior both have a solid wheelchair-accessible ramp."

"As I always do when I travel I feel that I MUST find the local breweries with food and support them support I did and I was NOT disappointed! Great beers, food, atmosphere and of course the local peeps! The best part of travel for me is all of the above and great convos with both folks who worked here and other patrons was a highlight. Heck I was even asked for marriage advice from two of the servers who are getting hitched soon at a destination wedding! It 's nice to not be treated like an 'out of towner ' when I travel and I for certain was NOT here! After dinner on a 2nd night came back here for a beer as I liked it that much. OK my name also helped me feel 'at home ' here... If I win a lottery jackpot I 'm buying a farm and opening a brewery in a historic barn in the neighboring town"

"I lived in western Massachusetts for many years as a grad student and though it's been many year s since then, I only recently discovered Barstow's one sunny afternoon where I made a pit stop to grab lunch during a summer weekend motorcycle ride. It's a bonafide farm with happy cows lazily grazing ... and though they have a small selection of flavors of their home made ice cream, it's the best that I have tasted in this state ... well, I'm no ice cream expert, or, food critic ... so, will just leave it at that... except that, whenever I visit the Hadley/Amherst/NoHo area, I make it a point to stop there for some ice cream !!"
