The friendly staff was very helpful while I was picking up my takeout and took the time to explain the menu to me. The atmosphere is comfortable, making this my new favorite sushi spot!

I had heard good things about master chef, and I could finally visit. long story short, they have good food. the rolling and sushi were good, but I was particularly surprised with the quality of the smokers. I visited during the lunchtime, but I will try to make the dinner menus as well.

This is a fantastic place for a quick meal! I dined in and rated the food a perfect 5. The service received a 4, and the atmosphere also scored a 4. I highly recommend the Kani Salad, Boston Roll, Lion King Roll, Crazy Boy Roll, Hibachi Noodles, and Edamame. There's plenty of parking available, including a free parking lot.

Holy smokes, this place impresses me every time. From the firecracker roll to the hibachi and teriyaki options, everything is always fresh and high quality. The ramen isn't fresh; it seems to be just reheated packaged noodles. The hot and spicy option comes with only three tiny pieces of meat, which is absurd. They charge an extra $2 on top of the already $16 soup. After placing my order, I was told to wait 45 minutes for soup! I definitely recommend avoiding this place—it's overpriced and lazy. I spent three years in Japan and visited Korea several times, and I can confidently say that this place offers the best sushi I've had outside of Japan. The quality is truly outstanding, and it's hard to find anything better in the continental U.S. It's located in the charming little town of South Hadley, MA—what a hidden gem! Seriously, stop what you're doing and go eat there right now!

We were pretty annoyed with the service and food. If we hadn't asked several times after a 30-minute wait, we think we would've been stuck there for a whole 50 minutes, rushing to finish our food in 10 minutes. If you're swamped with takeout orders, it would be really helpful to let customers know how long it will take, especially if it's going to be 50 minutes. There were only three tables with customers around 7 pm, but after a 30-minute wait, we had to go up to the front and ask about our ramen and fried chicken. Finally, the waiter brought the fried chicken. When we asked about the ramen, they told us it would be another 20 minutes. That meant we had just 10 minutes to wolf down the rame...

As for the sushi, the pieces were a good size, fresh, and had a generous amount of wasabi, which I love. The service was outstanding on both occasions we visited. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which really stood out to me. I don't often emphasize service in my reviews, but I can't stress this enough! Whether they were genuinely happy or just excellent at their jobs, the servers created a warm atmosphere. I hope the management treats them well because they truly deserve it! I have only two recommendations for improvement: 1. They need Wi-Fi!
