"Awesome....impressed. With decor, big menu selection, and the girls working and waiting on us were super nice and efficient.. Check the times because they're only open till 2 p.m. The food was just fabulous... I had the Mediterranean sandwich, fresh coffee.... husband had the Paul Bunyan ..and others had blt.. Choices of bread, sourdough, pumpernickel, rye, wheat, white.. Soups, coffee ..hot or iced...variety of soda or fruity beverages..the restaurant is right beside the canal in Manistique... Great water view.. Restrooms were beautiful..and big.. Such a great stop..great lunch.. And gift shop in another store right by it too.."

"Great find on the way to Kitch-iti-kipi! Local no-frills place with solid food service. Lots of people eating there in their work clothing, and probably a few hunter/fishermen. We checked the great reviews then stopped in after a harrowing 2+ hour drive along Lake Michigan through heavy rain fog. They were just setting up for lunch. My husband got a terrific breakfast, and even though they had a lot of wonderful looking menu items, I couldn't stop myself from getting yet another pasty! (I'm a fan! . The pasty was wonderful, the crust was tender and flaky, and the gravy was very good. Ketchup was on the table, so I could alternate bites with it and the gravy. Sooo gooood! The salad bar was super fresh and had a lot of great choices, including pasta salads and soups. The taco pasta salad was surprisingly good. The servers were all so sweet, friendly and helpful. Restrooms were clean and well stocked; you had to walk past the kitchen to get to them the kitchen looked very clean. We will definitely stop in again when in the area."

"The food at this restaurant is amazing. I haven't had an egg roll this delicious in years. The cashew chicken and pineapple chicken are outstanding. The service is great for take-out orders. This place is perfect for a brunch meal. The price per person is between $1-10. I would give the food and service a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere is nice, I would rate it a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the egg roll, honey chicken, crab rangoon, and house special lo mein."

"We were vacationing and stopped at Clyde's for lunch. It reminded me of a diner you would see along route 66. The food was great and the service even better. The server took her time to answer our questions, offer suggestions and just chat with us about the area. Places like this are few and far between so enjoy them when you have a chance."

"We arrived for lunch around 1:40 PM and received a warm welcome, despite the fact that they close at 2:00 PM on most days. The menu featured an array of sandwiches and salads, all with a delightful twist that made them stand out. My husband and I had trouble choosing, so we opted for different dishes to share. Both were absolutely delicious. We also shared a caramel pecan sticky bun that was simply divine. We’ll definitely make it a point to stop by whenever we're in the area."
