Beignets were delicious and warm! I was not blown away by the flavors on my shrimp or my partners alligator but overall the food was pretty good. Very nice staff and quick service.

Y'all. Legit Cajun food in Portland! The authentic crusty French bread, the spice on the fries, the light cornmeal crunch on the catfish yum! I can't wait to go back and try more. It's not tourist Cajun, it's family recipe Cajun.

I love the food. I'm a Louisiana girl. The food is great. However, I can rarely find them open when I go (like tonight, its my best friend's birthday, and its all she wanted…they close at 8:00, and I went to order on GrubHub, but it says they'd closed at 6:00. Update 10/15 — So f-ing good it hits your g spot, I swear. I'm pretty sure I annoyed my wife to the point of divorce as every bite had me moaning more than I ever have.; best. Food. Ever. Jambalaya, sausage Po'boy, cajun potato salad, these blackberry desert things.. unbelievably delicious, literally. THE best jambalaya I've ever had. Throw some sour cream in the mix and you have one of the greatest meals…i wish they were open 24/7 lol

Update: Here’s the unfortunate part..as much as my family friends would probably love this cart. Word of mouth carries a long way. Wow. Just wow. I've had plenty of good food all over Portland, but never felt like I absolutely HAD to leave a review. These people deserve all the praise and attention, cuz it's the only place I've been to in town that absolutely NAILS New Orleans staple foods. They even have true muffaletta on the round sesame bread loafs.
