"This restaurant is easily overlooked. It doesn’t look like much, has a misleading name, but wow, is it a hidden gem! In my opinion, the best Italian food in the Mauldin/Simpsonville area. I had the eggplant parmigiana which was outstanding. Fresh eggplant, perfectly done with a delicious red sauce and just the right amount of cheese. It comes with a side of spaghetti with red sauce, as is common. In other Italian restaurants, I always skipped the pasta because it was just mediocre but here, I ate it all. Don’t bother ordering the cheesecake- unfortunately, it is not at all up to the same high standards as the hot food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"

Please be sure to visit this hidden gym. Two of my nearest friends brought me for lunch today and It was amazing. I came back for dinner with my family. LOVE this restaurant. I’ve yet to find better Italian food in all of Greenville County. Forget downtown Greenville’s prices and fancy restaurants. My wife and I cannot stop raving about this place - the food is amazing! The red sauce here is probably the best in town. We highly recommend this place to everyone. We ordered takeout for dinner and the meal cost between $10-20 per person. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and there was plenty of parking available in the free parking lot. Piccola Italia in Mauldin, SC is truly a hidden treasure! The most authentic food since we visited Italy. The owner, Vico (hope I spelled that correct) originally from the Amalfi Coast, handcrafts all of the pasta with great care. His passion for authentic cuisine is evident—he even made thoughtful recommendations and prepared an off-menu dish called The Amalfi pasta for us. They serve authentic Italian beer, Peroni, and a delicious tiramisu. The food is undeniably a 10/10!

Best little hole in the wall authentic Italian spot in town. The owner is from Campagna and is very friendly. Everything our party of 7 tried was wonderful and I can’t wait to go back and try more. You won’t believe me when you first arrive, but walk through the door and trust meyou will not be disappointed.
