Loved the servers so upbeat and happy! Food was great, the special appetizer of rock shrimp was sweet and delicious. I had the special ruby trout and it was delicate and tender. My daughter had the chicken fried chicken and it was great comfort food!

Visiting the area for the weekend and I’m glad we stopped here! If you like seafood packed with tons of flavor, then this is your place! Food was delicious and the service was top notch. Absolutely fantastic! We visit Ithaca a few times a year but it’s been a few years since we have been back to Maxies. I wish it didn’t take that long! Everything was delicious. I know how much the restaurant industry is suffering right now but it was a job well done here. Can’t wait to come back for some delicious seafood!

The food was ok, might’ve been better if it wasn’t cold. Wished our server knew what she was doing. She appeared to mean well but was very inexperienced. Forgot our cocktails and blamed the bartender saying she lost our tickets, refilled water upon request only to my husband although all of our glasses were empty, forgot our entrees and they came out cold, forgot lemons that we asked for — for our oysters, and left us a stack of clean plates to share our entrees after we finished…
