"This is a must-read. I’m giving a 5-star review to keep it hidden. I've been a loyal customer for three years, but my recent experience was disappointing. The woman at the drive-thru was very rude! One morning, I discovered a bug in my hash browns. I called the manager, who took the part with the bug but was very short with me. He didn’t show any concern about the situation, didn’t offer me a refund or anything, and simply handed me two dollars and some change. When I tried to talk to him further, he was unresponsive. I took the rest of my bag of food inside to either get a refund or possibly exchange it for another meal. However, he was quick to just issue the refund and gave me my cash back."

Slow and expensive. Waited at least 20 minutes in the drive thru line. Person taking order rushed through everything. We have our app code and suddenly she’s telling us the total...didn’t even ask what options we wanted as offered on the code. Prices at this location are higher than other locations. Will be passing this one by and just waiting for Panama City.

In Port St. Joe, Florida, McDonald's offers better service compared to other fast food places in the area. As is often the case, when new staff members aren't brought in or when there aren't enough people working, it tends to affect the wait times and food preparation. However, at the end of the day, I'm satisfied to have this McDonald's here, as it is the only one in St. Joe, and I'm grateful for their presence.
