"We 've heard about this place from friends and decided to check it out. Place is on the side of the road and has a rural rustic vibe. There is a gaming area with a band playing live music to enjoy while waiting to be seated. Place was crowded and waitingwas very long. We 've waited 2 hours before we were seated. Some people even brought some chairs with them. After I saw that, Ihad the feeling this was going to be a long wait. Haha. Menu options are very few. You get 2 sheets, one to keep track of yourdrinks and another one to order food. That made it fast, easy, and convenient when you are ordering food and drinks. We justwish menu was more kids friendly. There is a big fridge in the back of the main seating area where you can get your drinks. Youcan find beer, juices, soda and bottled water. Wife and I ordered steamed and stuffed shrimps. The stuffing on the shrimps wastasty but shrimps were over cooked. I was put off by it. Only had 2 shrimps. On the other hand, steamed shrimps had the rightamount of seasoning and cooked just fine. The portion was good as well. See pictures for more details. Kids mainly orderedburgers and chicken fingers. Taste was more like microwaved food. They don 't eat seafood at all. Staff was very friendly andprofessional. Some of our food took too long and waitress was very apologetic. Despite them being super busy, they handle thesituation very well. Overall, I think experience could being a lot better if the few dishes on the menu were executed betterand waiting time wasn 't too much. In the future, we will give it another try and we will report."

"My wife and I spent New Year's at a condo on Cape San Blas and were referred to the newly opened Ronnie B's Restaurant for steaks and seafood by a local friend. We visited on Sunday night, December 30, and my wife ordered the Broiled Mates seafood platter while I opted for the Ribeye steak. Both dishes were exceptional. With our extensive travel experiences over the past 30 years, I can confidently say that this Ribeye was among the best steaks I’ve ever had, and my wife declared her seafood to be some of the finest she had tasted. The staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive throughout our meal. We enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to return on New Year’s Eve for the Prime Rib Special. The restaurant operated by reservation only, with two seating times: 6 PM and 8 PM. Unfortunately, the 6 PM slot was fully booked, so we opted for 8 PM. Though I had initially wanted to order seafood, the menu that night offered only Prime Rib. I'm glad I ended up trying it because it was simply perfect. The team at Ronnie B's truly knows how to treat their customers and serve top-notch food. We were informed by the staff that the fireworks would start around 10 PM, so we waited in the parking lot for about 30 minutes after finishing our meal to catch the show. This is where I found the above review to be misleading. Prime Rib was the only dish available that night, and since we were among the last tables to leave, the staff could not have attributed any overcooking to the fireworks; the restaurant was nearly empty well before the display began. Rest assured, on our next trip to Cape San Blas, Ronnie B's will be our go-to spot! Thank you for two delightful evenings filled with incredible food!"

"We (party of 4 adults) visited this restaurant on a Tuesday about 3pm (Eastern Time). There looked to be a low crowd compared to the evening before. It was a 30 minute wait for a table. We sat outside in the screened in area as we were traveling with our dog. It was pet-friendly in that we could have our dog with us, but unlike other restaurants in the area, no water was offered for our dog. We placed our order drink and appetizer (calamari) order quickly, but were told they might be out of the appetizer. The waiter checked and the appetizer and it was still available. We placed the rest of of order (mahi-mahi sandwich, grouper sandwich, and 2 BBQ pork sandwiches), but the waiter came back to say that they had run out of BBQ pork. Ribs were chosen to replace the BBQ pork. However, the waiter again came back, this time saying they only serve ribs on Friday. Burgers were then ordered. After a long wait, the waiter tells us the kitchen was really backed up, but we should have our appetizer soon. It was a while later and our waiter seemed surprised that we still had no appetizer. Eventually it came and was well liked. Some time later, we were told that the printer that our order was going through stopped printing and the kitchen hadn't noticed, but it was fixed and we should get our food soon. We waited a total of at least 1 hour and 45 minutes (up to 2 hours) for our food after sitting down at our table. Unfortunately the kitchen got 1 order incorrect so to keep from causing much issue, we asked for just a new bottom bun. However, we were told the kitchen was so backed up that it could be quite a while before that could be brought. That sandwich was eaten without the bottom bun. The meals were generous in size and good (especially the fish). We were given an free appetizer for our long wait (brought when were almost finished with our meal). TBH most of the area restaurants are slow (but not this slow) hopefully our experience here was not common. Update at their response. First, let me be clear that I now feel you are insulting us. We were not upset that our dog was not offered water. We would have asked if we truly felt there was a need. We were simply surprised since other restaurants in the area were courteous enough to bring water or at least ask. Also, the menus we received did not state that ribs were only served on Friday as they state in their reply and our server was also completely unaware of this. Let me also be clear that we were very patient, polite, did not complain and gave a large tip. This review was simply based on our experience there."

"Please please please do not go to this restaurant I am begging you it was horrible. First we waited for our food for 2 1/2 hours. If you need time zones we got there at 6:27 and we didn't get our food till 830 so says Life360, when we got our food it was ice cold and our order was messed up. For six people it was 207.97. Our friends came with us which made that two families and the bill added together came out to 419 and .97. After waiting that long when we got our food, our food was very cold. My two daughters got chicken Parm that was hard as a rock and they couldn't even cut into it. I got the blackened snapper that was as pale as Casper the ghost! If I wait two hours for food, I'm expecting good food especially if it's 200 this place gave me no satisfaction and no good customer service when we asked for the manager mind you our waiter ran off and disappeared for 45 minutes. didn't supply us napkins or anything just ran off. letting y'all know the only good thing here was the drinks. and our cheese sticks for appetizers. We are just visiting here for vacation but just so y'all can get a reference in our hometown. We have a Mexican restaurant and for 400 which was the cost of two families eating at this restaurant combined we both could've eaten at our hometown Mexican restaurant two nights in a row and probably would've had enough money to go get a cool dessert or something I am begging you do not go to the restaurant I have never been to a restaurant that was this bad before"

"5 for the service!!!! My husband and I were out fishing in the bay and dragged in late to lunch. We try to support local business and went to downtown Port St. Joe to find something quick to eat so we could head back to fishing. We walked up to Dagwood and after seeing the chalkboard menu outside the building we decided it was a good place to eat but it had just closed, it was just a few minutes after 3pm. As we were walking away from the door, the owner JR arrived to the restaurant and he informed us that he could make us something to go if we were willing to wait. Being hungry, we opted to do that. Within minutes, the owner brought our to go orders, Shrimp tacos (3) Cuban sandwich combo with drinks. When I pulled my credit card to pay since I had no cash, JR told me lunch was on him. That's one reason why local business will be better than the chain restaurants! Another reason, the shrimp tacos was finger licking good. I have a thing for tacos and this was one of the best I've had. It was on toasted tortilla bread, grilled blacken shrimp, coleslaw, pico de gallo remoulade sauce (spicy). My husband had the Cuban that came with chips french onion dip. He said it was good but after eating a Cuban sandwich from a Cuban, there's no comparison. Overall we had an excellent lunch experience. We will definitely go back. This will be on our list of go to places. Highly recommend this ladie for lunch (11-3)."
