Thank you for listening to my concerns. The bartender, who I assume was the manager, took care of the problem and assured me that it would not happen again. They also mentioned that their food is delicious. Thank you for addressing the issue.

It was a busy night and I thought our server was kind and expedient. The food was good pub food. I was there with a group of public school teachers and I got the sense this was the kind of bar that working people went to. I enjoyed it immensely.

We stopped here for the first time with our adult children after attending a holiday party downtown the night before. The food was great, the **** Mary Bar (Saturday morning) was top notch and our bartender, James was wonderful!! The pasta at this restaurant is delicious. It's not the typical mac and cheese you get at home, but it's a unique dish that I enjoy. The menu offers something for everyone and the drinks are reasonably priced. Parking was a challenge the last time I visited, but the bathrooms were clean. I will definitely order the pasta again.

came here to dinner and drinks before a show in the detroit opera house. we sat at the bar and got instant service. the food and the animals were great! the French dip was tasteful and disintegrate delicate. my man got the fish chips, said the fish was good, the wetar was really good and the koleslaw was the best he had. in any case they want to come back!

DELICIOUS ?It was my first time at this place and I couldn’t be happier. The food was amazing. I never had mac cheese like what I had here, the reuben was melting off and the fish chips was really good too. I believe that there isn't a single dish on the menu at this restaurant that tastes bad! I have been a customer here for 10 years and have never gotten tired of eating. I highly recommend that everyone try this place at least once in their lifetime. If you do visit, be sure to order some of their famous mac and cheese! Although the atmosphere is not as lively as before, it is understandable given the changes brought on by COVID-19. Overall, the food and drinks here are fantastic.

My friend and I ordered top shelf Long Island drinks and they weren’t strong at all. We asked for our drinks to be remade and the manager came to our table all hippity hop and said “this isn’t some regular bar in the hood. Slow slip and let the drinks kick in” we were so in shock that we didn’t even care to go back and forth. Then we finished our drinks and like we expected there was barely any alcohol in them. When winded up having to order straight shots. Basically wasted our money on the Long Islands. Then ordered the appetizer wings and they came out burnt. I can’t believe I’m giving bar food five stars but everything about McShane’s was top notch.We started dinner with the Irish Egg Rolls which are corned beef and cabbage filled egg rolls. Very crispy on the outside and really delicious with a little of the mustard dip they provide. Be careful though they are molten lava hot when they come to the table.We also got a small Mac n Cheese with the meal to try it out. It is the cheesiest Mac n cheese from a restaurant that I’ve even had but not in a greasy way just rich and delicious.My wife really loved her Rueben!
