Great customer service with delicious food , small place but sometimes it’s were you find the best tasting food.

Based on other reviews, takeout or delivery might not be the best choice. Dining in at Mexicocina was a real delight. The margaritas were fantastic, and the tostadas and quesadillas were excellent.

Viva Mexicocina! Traditional with excellent options. Burritos, mole, huaraches, tamales. Lots of vegetarian and meat options. Horchatas and agua frescas! Dios Mio! I'm in heaven. The traditional decor is so vibrant, fun and inviting. Love it here. I'll be back!! Visualizza piatti

Be aware that the place is very small, but it’s worth it if you’re looking for great drinks. The server also makes the drinks and does an excellent job handling both the bar and the customers. The food could use a bit more flavor, but overall, it’s a nice spot for a date.

Started out great We got our chips fast, the food took forever and the waiter was checked out of reality, nice atmosphere with charming decorations intimate space although the music was a bit overbearing. Server was discriminatory to us cuz we had acoupon, which made us feel very uncomfortable.

Be forewarned that the place is super small, but I think it’s worth it if you want good drinks. The server is actually the one preparing the drinks and he does a great job managing both the customers and the bar. What used to be a fabulous Bronx restaurant with a handful of items has turned into a typical Mexican restaurant with a hundred choices of the same stuff: burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tortas, etc. While guacamole was excellent, and the chorizo torta,although small, was tasty, everything else we order was bland or worse.

One of the best restaurants in the South Bronx. One of the best Mexican restaurants across New York City. Best dishes as a customer for 10 years: Al Pastor Burrito Chicken or Steak Quesadilla Pollo a la Mexicana Carne Asada con Arroz yFrijoles Molcajete por Dos AMAZING for a group of 2 3 Nachos de Pollo/Bistec/Carnitas You can't go wrong with any of thosedishes

If I could give Mexicocina 10 stars, I would. Being from Los Angeles, I've been on a quest to find the best taco spot in New York, and this place definitely takes the crown. I would come here a hundred times without hesitation! The food is authentic, delicious, and absolutely outstanding. Every item on the menu stays true to the rich flavors and high quality of Mexican cuisine, and the staff and owner are incredibly friendly. What stood out to me the most was their variety of vegetarian and vegan options alongside the meat dishes, all equally flavorful. The spice levels are perfectly balanced too!
