"My husband and I have been to my Nannys restaurant many times when the original owners John and Ruth Owned it and we’re not always happy with the food or service then. On a Friday night with the fish fry my husband got raw fish and that was the last time we went. We like to go to small local restaurants to support them and generally find we like the atmosphere especially if it’s quiet. We were very excited to see that there was a new owner and decided to give the restaurant a try. The first time we went was a Sunday morning we waited a while but the restaurant was very busy and we understood that. Our breakfast was phenomenal! Then we went for dinner and it was OK. We went for breakfast again not as good but OK. Right before Christmas my husband and I went there because we had been out shopping and they had spaghetti with meat sauce on the special menu. My husband opted to get soup his soup came out cold he asked for a bowl which was not full but had to pay extra for a bowl anyway. The waitress came over to ask us if everything was ok because she noticed we weren’t eating our food. There was something in the meat sauce I believe it was over spiced and it made it kind of bitter. We told the waitress that and she must’ve went in the back and told to cook who apparently made the sauce. She came out with her hands on her hip and walked over to her table aggressively and said so you don’t like my meat sauce. We told her that there was some thing in there that we really didn’t like the taste of it and we never asked for our money back or anything just for to go boxes because I knew my son would eat it . She said well you’re the first one that’s complained about it today and I’ll have you know I don’t use thyme or rosemary. I have worked with the public and I have worked in food service and I have never in my life had a cook come out of the kitchen to aggressively address us in such a manner. We have decided we are not going back."

The ladies here are so incredibly Sweet, Friendly. The food was excellent. The homemade dessert looked amazing but were too Full. Will be back. Great find.

It's an affordable dining spot where they really get to know you by your first name. I highly recommend it to anyone. The food is delicious and the service is quick.

I guess I should have been more attentive to the previous reviews. Service was lacking big time! Hamburger bun was STALE.... at least a month old. Not the cleanest place I've been too. So sad

Rare find with great food and make sure you get a REAL NEW YORK bagel while your there…It’s the real deal. Being originally from Long Island NY I know what a real bagel taste like and believe me you won’t be disappointed.

I like trying different things to eat. I ordered the Grouper Rueben at My Nanny's. It sounds kind of weird, but the sandwich was great. I liked the casual atmosphere of this diner. My server, Ronnie, was very friendly too. I'll definitely go back. Visualizza piatti

Looking for a place to have breakfast, and then we saw the menu. I had grouper sandwich, but, in the end we all had anything but breakfast and everything was delicious. Our waitress was perfect and yet it was the review of the great breakfast that brought us there. Maybe next time, we'll all go earlier. Don't miss this place.

I went here for a quick lunch and was able to order my meal of the leber with speck and mushrooms. it was very good. I've had it there before and I'll go back for it. the boiled perfectly medium, beautiful and juicy, not dry as they could get other places. I highly recommend going to my nannys diner and deli, especially if they like live!
