"I have heard great things about Syrup and our visit completely lives up to the hype. The food is fresh, very hot, and delicious. They have the traditional breakfast items plus a wide range of unique options. We shared the classic potatoes pancakes and apple sauce. My husband liked the Cluck Cluck and I really enjoyed the small Chicken and Waffles (enough food for two meals). The chicken was sooo crunchy and moist and the waffles the perfect crunch. Loved their specialty made sweet cream syrup and the Tequila Sunrise Mimosa. We each easily have another breakfast we are taking home! Great service and we didn't wait too long to get a table at the height of Sunday rush. We will definitely be back again! Only small negative is it is very loud. "We have ordered sushi from a wide variety of local places from Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Elgin, as well as on vacation. Mori Sushi is by far the best that I have had! My kids absolutely love the California Rolls, and the OMG and Spicy Tuna with Crunch are just unbelievable! I might have a sickness, but I was counting the days while they were gone on vacation and closed. I am telling you, if you haven’t tried Mori, you are missing out. "Although you can't actually spend the night here, you'll surely wish you could. The food is full of flavor, demonstrating their mastery of barbecue. The prices are very reasonable, making it only slightly more expensive to take the family out for dinner than a trip to McDonald's. The atmosphere is pleasant, featuring warm wooden accents and the smoky scent of the meats, complemented by charming hanging decorations. While the decor isn’t excessively flashy, there’s still plenty to catch your eye."

"Went in on a busy Saturday night. Had server Tyler, in my opinion he should not only be serving food but also doing stand up on the side! Not only was the food great but also was the staff.
