"Sadie's was recommended to us by my sister-in-law, who is Korean and makes some of the best meat jun you'll ever taste. When she told me she loved this place, because it taste like her own, she wasn't lying! We arrived before the afternoon closing and were greeted with friendly smiles from everybody! The service was absolutely impeccable. It's very modest restaurant ambiance wise but very welcoming. I'm going to say that in the 50 years I've lived in Hawaii, where I was first introduced to Korean barbecue, Sadie's made the best kalbi, reminiscent to a place I frequented in Maui called Azteca back in the 80s. It was absolutely tender, marinated to perfection and simply delicious! Their banchan was fresh; both kimchi's were delicious. The cucumber kimchi was my favorite, but everything was very fresh and nicely chilled. We ordered zucchini jun which could have been cooked a bit more but was tasty. We split a plate because we were headed to my husband's family reunion and they were serving Hawaiian Cuisine, which isn't my favorite. Sadie's SATISFIED in every corner of my mouth. We'll be back."

"This is a design your own pizza restaurant and it’s pretty darn good. The only criticism I have is for the pizza mushrooms, I’d prefer slices of mushrooms instead of small pieces. The buffalo wings were not too spicy, exact how I prefer, and the stuffed mushrooms are pretty good as well. We carried out our order and when we got home we discovered our blue cheese container had melted a bit within the container of the wings.Prices are on par with the island, more on the higher side but that’s the price we pay for living in paradise. We got the Tuesday deal so that might have helped mitigate the overall cost. They have a decent lunch deal so I’ll be checking that out in the future. We recommend and will return."

"We dropped by for some manapua and ended up leaving with a lot more, haha! The staff was super friendly. Although we had to wait a bit, they surprised us with samples, which was a nice touch. I'd definitely recommend trying the pork hash – we had some from Seven Eleven earlier, but it was so much better here. The Musubi looked super fresh and delicious, and the prices were really good compared to places like Seven Eleven. The manapuas are just the right size for sampling a few so get a couple when you visit. The only baked one is the Charsui, but the other flavors can be steamed or fried, and they're easy to identify by the symbols on top. And make sure you grab a pack of their yummy almond cookies – they're totally worth it! We're so glad we stopped by and supported this awesome local business and recommend you visit there as well!"

"Mikel and the Tanioka's team were so incredible to work with throughout the year+ we were planning our wedding and it is clear they have a smooth running operation. From the start, Mikel was responsive and helpful with all of our questions via email and was happy to hop on phone calls when needed, and promptly provided us with tasting options and quotes. Our wedding wasn't big (60 guests) so to them it was a small event, but they still provided us with so much care and meticulousness that we felt extremely well supported throughout. Tanioka's is an incredibly well equipped operation they provided timely transportation for the food, a heated buffet line set up that looked amazing, attendants to help serve our guests, buffet line takedown and packing up of leftovers, as well as disposable plates, utensils, and napkins that looked great. Most of all, our guests were so impressed with the food (especially the furikake ahi, mochiko chicken, haupia squares, and vegetarian tofu poke) and it was special having guests from the mainland try local food. We're looking forward to working with them in the future!"

"We absolutely loved this place! We tried their Mongo beans, dinuguan, Kwali Lechon, local breakfast plate with Portuguese sausage, pinakbet, pinapaitan, longonisa breakfast plate, sisig fries, and pork lumpia. Then, we had the banana lumpia with Ube ice cream. All of it was delicious! This is better Filipino food than in L.A. and Vegas. The owner, Ron D, was so friendly and gave us a small bowl to try the Bichol Express. That was also delicious. We loved the food so much that we plan to come back before we leave back to the mainland. My cousin heard about this place from an Instagram influencer saying this is the best Filipino food to eat on the island. My brother also heard from his coworker that this place was excellent as well. If you want authentic Filipino food, go to Shay's."
