Great customer service, our waitress checked back often but not too much. Food was cooked to perfection.

Thanks to our waiter, Barry, the service was outstanding ! Excellent meal. My fillet practically melted in my mouth.

They worked hard to accommodate dietary restrictions and the food was yummy. The downfall is not having gluten free and dairy free starch options or buns (they do bring rolls for the table).

Everything about this place was amazing. Went with a group of four. The food came out hot and timely. I had the prime rib 24oz, I swear it was 2 lbs. Awesome crust. 100% recommended. We went all out with multiple drinks and appetizers. The bill was about $280 and worth every penny.

It was our first time. We ordered a few starters, which were very good. But the salads were another case. The Caesar salad had virtually no Romaine, loose tasteless dressing and too many large croutons and Caprasi salad tomatoes were not ripe. We ordered the filet and prime rib. Husband got prime rib and it was good. We also liked the salad and mashed potatoes and drinks.I ordered the salmon but waiter came back told me they wear out of it so had to ordered something else, I decided on the scallops and shrimp, it was extremely salty. You got 2 scallops and two shrimp brocoli and mashed potatoes. Honestly I would never ordered that again. I had my husband try it as he likes food more salty but he even said it was very salty.

Pogreba has been a favorite of ours for years. It's where we go to treat ourselves on special occasions we've never been disappointed, until we went there last week to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered the tenderloin tips my husband ordered a ribeye (our typical order unless London Broil is available). My tips were delicious, very tender, almost too tender. I ordered them well done they were literally crumbling I could cut then with a fork. I'm not sure any well done tenderloin would do that? The gorgonzola cheese sauce was delicious but there was just too much of it. Did I complain? No. Did I eat it? You bet! I'm not about to waste my food, but the cheese sauce was so good, it just didn'...

My spouse and I dined at Pogreba, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, in early May. Our entire experience was excellent, and we highly recommend Pogreba. They accept reservations for parties of two. Some of the other La Crosse restaurants do not. My spouse had the lamb wellington. The lamb was cooked perfectly pink, well seasoned, and the puff pastry was light and flaky. An excellent sized portion. The house salad was also excellent. My spouse was very happy with their selection. I had the Special, which was a red curry seafood with pasta dish it was out of this world.
