"This was a fun shop to visit on our way through Red Wing! They have ice cream, hand made chocolates, and lots of other sweets! The server was very nice and asked great questions to make sure we got what we wanted! I really like this place in addition towhat they sell, their services, and that also that you can see them making some of the confections as well as a SUPERconvenient, SUPER fun place to eat the ice cream across the street at the fountain! My kids loved it, choosing some hand madekisses and a superman ice-cream bowl! If you're in Red Wing, you should definitely stop by for a treat!"

"We previously had a lovely dinner at The Port and were excited to visit again. Unfortunately, due to terrible service (the busperson kept refilling our water as our server was nowhere to be seen and we waited nearly half an hour between courses), we sat for dinner for TWO HOURS. Nothing was comped, no apologies were offered. We saw other tables come and go in the time it took us to get served. We did not ask for anything unusual only two appetizers. I would NOT recommend the 'market cheeses ' appetizer not well described. We had a 2 x 1 slab of blue cheese, two tiny dried up crostini, one of which had a dab of tomato confit. My husband 's NY strip was more charred/**** rare than medium rare. My market fish, thankfully, was halibut and was excellent, so we shared that. NOT WORTH the price or the wait time. I am sad to have to report our disappointment."

"Stop for a Sunday brunch. We could have 4 of us quickly and in a beautiful stand (modern and better than most stands. The restaurant looks very nice, modern and upscale. It is located in the historic Hotel St. James, so it was cool after brunch. The service was very good, the menu had many good options and looks like a great lunch or dinner. I ordered the biscuits Gravy (biscuits, sausage sword, breakfast potatoes, peppers, onions, etc. And it was very good and filling. My wife ordered the Banana Foster French Toast (Nicely had cried Pecans, which was also very good. For drinks I had a **** Mary (good, but could have hunted a beer and more toppings. My wife got the Mimosa flight (you choose 4 to try and I would highly recommend it."

"The Staghead is a delightful bar and restaurant that offers a relaxed and welcoming ambiance. It's the perfect place to gather with friends, savoring delicious food while catching up. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which greatly enhanced our overall dining experience. We tried the Staghead Burger accompanied by roasted wedge potatoes, as well as the salmon clam chowder served with a baguette. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium—juicy and full of flavor—while the chowder was light, delicious, and thoroughly satisfying. Both dishes made for a lovely meal on a chilly day! We'll definitely return the next time we're in Red Wing. If you're visiting for the day, make sure to add The Staghead to your plans; it's conveniently located near excellent shopping as well."

"im so happy my friends and i stumbled in here while i was showing them around town! im from red wing and have (somehow) never been here before. the diner setting is super cute, everyone was so nice to us! i got the reuben and honestly, its one of the best ive ever had. the prices are low for the amount of food you get and everything was about as fresh as you can get it! ill have to come back when im back in town thanks for the awesome lunch!!"
