"Had not been to a red lobster in years because we were not happy with the last experience. It was my husband’s birthday and he really wanted lobster so we gave it another try. Signed up for priority seating through open table a week before his birthday. When we arrived tonight we were told it would be 20-30 mins before we’d be seated. It ended up being 75 minutes. That is in no way someone demonstrating that we are a priority. We went up to the hostess a few times to see where we were on the list and were told 2 people were in front of us on 2 different instances. Many people in the waiting area were unhappy and had been waiting lengthy periods of time even with having priority seating or using the call ahead option, which people commented was labeled reservation. We heard the host staff tell dozens of people the wait was 15 minutes when that was clearly inaccurate. There were many tables empty in the restaurant and wait staff were coming up to the host stand clearly ready for tables but there was disorganization when seating. The company should not use open table or have an option to reserve a spot through their app if they cannot manage the flow of people. Also, they don’t even have a process whereby you can leave the restaurant to wait in your car. No pagers, no text, just have to stand there in a packed space waiting for them to call your name. Standing for 75 mins is unacceptable. There is clearly an issue with management. On a Saturday evening there should not be tables sitting with nobody seated at them for the entire length of our dinner while there was a waiting area full of people waiting to eat. They also need a lesson in estimating. The only thing that saved the evening was our waiter who was extremely patient, apologetic, and did whatever he could to salvage what should have been a nice birthday dinner for my husband. He was awesome! The food was good. The experience on the front end of our visit was horrendous. We will not return."

Eating wasn't good at all. the food tasted very salty and prepacked. I don't want to go back.

The food was good, but the thing that made this restaurant special was our waitress. The service was really good and she had a great sense of humor.

Usato la funzione Apri Table "Call". Quando siamo arrivati ci è stato detto che sarebbe stato ancora un minuto in attesa. L'attesa effettiva era solo minuti Visualizza piatti

eating was good, but we sat on the back of the restaurant, which was well 10 degrees colder than the front. I'm not cold nature, but it was just too cold to enjoy our meal. my wife wore her winter coat all the time.

We dined during Lobsterfest and found our food delicious. Our wait to be seated was about 20 minutes, although we had signed up for the priority Wait List. No reservations are available. Dinner was excellent as was the service. Visualizza piatti

Food was horrible; cold and greasy. We never received our appetizers. The manager came over and offered a 30% discount for food we never received. Further when we got there we didn't have a reservation. The host stated that open table wasn't an option for reservations. I showed them my reservation and they apologized but further stated that they do not use open table

"I love to support local caffes and hopefully find new ones to add my favorite list. we live in durham and have a full of excellent coffee shops with locally roasted beans. when we found ourselves shopping in Morrisville/Cary furniture yesterday, I searched google and found meeple’s close by with excellent reviews. I didn't know this was the board game coffee shop I heard from until I got in. I think that explains the high ratings and popularity, not necessarily the coffee. I admit, the board game spectacle is pretty cool. the reason I give this 2 stars is because 1 the coffee is waaaaay more expensive than any other coffee shop in the triangle; 2 the espresso roast is a bit burned tasting like dieucks, but not terrible; and 3 the service is incredibly slow. I ordered an ice-cold latte with milk. this drink cost me $7 before the drink. for a 16 ounce drink! at the day before I had $6 for the best tasting hafermilch mocha I had in a local coffee shop and it was a 24 oz drink (new world caffe in raleigh.) so the quality doesn’t add to the extravagant cost of espresso drinks at meeple’s when compared to the dozens of other local coffee shops we have visited the these are airport prices! the drink was decent, not the best lavendel latte I had (cloche coffee in durham deserved this title in front of location, the well coffee shop in boston deserves the highest honor), so I admit it for the greatest part, but it was not worth the price tag. the brat wasn't my favorite. it had a bit of a burning taste like dieucks is famous. because I had a lavender latte, it was more subtle, but I could still say that it was roasted in the aftertaste. my man tasted it and was not a fan of espressos, although his favorite drink is a lavender. he only took one and said that was enough. Maybe we're just coffee-snobs, because we're the type that pays $25/lb for 100% cona coffee beans and they're regularly sent to us. I expect the price to be the same as the quality. the service was also very slow. it took 10 minutes to go my icy latte. during this time the girl made only 1 latte and a cup of tea for a few dining rooms. other coffee shops would have scrubbed 10 cups in the same time. the place was busy playing with people games, but don't order coffee drinks. only 2 other customers came in the 10 minutes I waited, and they got their coffee pretty fast as they were cold roast coffees that did not need the espresso machine. so it was not as if they were so busy or with orders secured. there was literally only one in front of me to make one of these objects only a cup of tea that does not require much effort. they had 3 employees, but apparently only this one girl could drink an espresso while the others were busy. the concept is unique and interesting, but I will not return. the price marking did not justify the quality or the lack of this of the small one. I think what they really pay is the experience, not the product."
