"I’m a regular at this location because I’m a resident on the property. Overall I’m giving this place 5 stars for overall experience because they’re always accommodating however only 3 stars for the food as I was extremely frustrated this dining experience. There were a few miscommunications which caused my partner to ingest a dish that included a restricted ingredient in his diet. PreFixe menu is always a great option."

Not enough staff and food was slow coming out of the kitchen. Even the manager apologised in person without notice.

Our waitress, Patricia, was fantastic! It was my mother’s 90th birthday and Patricia made sure she was taken care of for her birthday. The food was great! It is a little pricey, but well worth it.

We had a fabulous waiter. He was very attentive and a real go-getter. Will return when back in this area. This was probably the best steak that I have ever had. It was a filet that was cooked perfectly and could cut it with a fork!! Had fabulous flavor as well!!

Visiting the San Antonio hill country area. RC LaCantera is a great way to celebrate an anniversary a quiet and relaxing dinner. Compliments to the Chef. Hector did an awesome job. The manager stopped by our table to offer congratulations. Hosting Team decorated our table. Great service from the entire team. Thank you all.

"The chicken fried oysters remind me of a fried mushroom, no this that great about it. Ordered a bottle of Palmaz the waiter can back twice to verify the name then the manager before they finally found it. When opening they broke the cork which took minutes before we finally got a glass poured. Dinner was good but they forgot a side and by the time it came we were about done with our food. Spending for people needs to be a better quality wait staff and evening"

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"We had a reservation and were seated within a few minutes of arriving. However, by pm we had only received drinks appetizers, despite repeated reminders to our waitress. She told us the kitchen was backed up, yet we saw almost every other table around us receive their food. Our appetizers didn’t even arrive until pm, a full hour after we were seated! We finally told our waitress to cancel the entrees and left hungry. The staff did nothing to rectify the situation either, they didn’t comp the appetizers or drinks or anything! We asked another table nearby if they experienced the same service, and they told us their food was delayed but their oysters, drinks, and dessert were comped to make up for it. This was a horrible experience for what looked like a promising meal! Extremely disappointed in how the staff managed this situation. We will not be returning"

"Nice casual place with good food to gather and meet up with friends. Was easy to hear each other (in fact, we were probably the loudest ones there) but distanced enough from other diners that it was fine. Our server was very nice and the food came out timely, even with a 12 noon booking."

"I wasn't impressed with my experience at this restaurant. I stopped by while returning to Sacramento from visiting California's caves, but when we arrived, many items we wanted to order, such as meatballs, pineapples, and dessert pizza, were unavailable. Furthermore, we were the only customers there and were informed we would have to wait 45 to 60 minutes for our food. Considering it was a slow day, this waiting time was unacceptable. The staff also didn’t seem very welcoming. We ultimately decided to leave without placing an order in search of better options and service. To the owners: I did check the pizza place you mentioned. Three other people in my party that day can confirm my account. We were all frustrated by the long wait times and the lack of available menu items. If you hadn’t run out of food or offered us a wait of over 30 minutes, we wouldn't have left that day. For context, this visit took place on 8/13/22."
