Great drinks and friendly staff! 10/10 service, Afan was super accommodating to my group and helped us navigate through the menu. The drinks were the highlight of my night!

Best Indian food in the city! The dishes we ordered had a lot of flavor and spice especially the goat rogan josh. Staff was very friendly and attentive to my table. Will be coming back as soon as possible.

I had heard many excellent things about Saar and it truly exceeded my expectations. I was impressed by the atmosphere and the exceptional service. The food was delicious and authentic, with the lamb chops being my favorite dish. They were cooked perfectly!

I went there for my friend’s birthday and had such a great experience. The atmosphere was great and the bartender had some very creative drinks. The food was authentic and flavorful. My favorite dish was the beetroot cutlet and the shrimp balchao. Will be back to try out their new drinks!

The food and cocktails at this restaurant were incredible, and the service was excellent. Our server, Tammy, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, even opening up the closed patio for us because we had our dog with us. Had my end of the year office dinner at Saar and the entire office was raving about the food and drinks. Our server, Raj was very nice and helped coordinate our order. The food was impeccable and the drinks were a hit with everyone. The bartender is very creative when it comes to the drinks. Our office will be ordering food from here more often now.

While we were visiting NYC, we thought to try this restaurant after looking at positive reviews but I would say that our experience wasn’t great. After considering the price and fine dining, we felt the dishes lacked complexity, flavour as well as quantity. Paneer lababdar was too sweet and lacked texture, the quantity and plating surprised us and we felt it look incomplete. The Dal Makhni was bit bland and again lacked flavour and taste. We also ordered Murgh Kesari which was good but one of the pieces were raw and we had to ask for replacement. The service was okay and prompt but would say that server should refrain from making unsolicited advice unless being asked for. Would not recommend...

Our 2nd server was great. The first guy disappeared after taking our order and it went downhill from there. The food was good but not the best we've had. The bathrooms were a disaster and really effected our experience. One of the 2 bathrooms smelled like something had died in it, and it wasn't possible to be in there, 30 min later it still smelled horrible and the other toiled had pee sprayed everywhere all over the toilet, it was an unfortunate choice to have to make. It was super gross. The food was good but our initial waiter disappeared and 15 min after we placed our order, our 2 beers had not yet arrived.
