Sakura Japanese Steak House

I enjoyed the experience because it had good food and I had fun with the friends I came with. In comparison to other Japanese steak houses I've been too this restaurant charges about 10$ more per person and I don't think the higher price is worth it.

A family of four came to the restaurant for dinner, and two other family members joined us to celebrate a birthday. Although many tables were empty, we were not allowed to sit down until the others arrived. We were asked to wait at the entrance until they got there. Frustrated, we decided to leave right away and went elsewhere. This experience felt unprofessional, and we were very disappointed.

Sushi was good but looks nothing like the pictures they show online. For example, the picture I posted is supposedly the yum yum roll?. Looks nothing like what?s in the picture. A little disappointed in that regard. Sushi was good though, just missing a lot of flavors. This was a fun meal for my birthday with family. Very expensive, but you're paying for a chef at your table. I had lobster and scallops, the lobster was overcooked and rubbery, but the scallops were good. I wish I had ordered fried rice instead of white, because they cook it right there and it's much more tasty. I thought there was plenty of food and I went home with leftovers. Service was fantastic, everyone was friendly and nice. I didn't think the place was dirty as some other reviews mentioned. I solitude recommend.

Had an awesome experience here. The menu is reasonably priced and you always get more food than you can eat. Menu is priced like a fast food restraunt but you get the full experience of having a Chef prepare your meal right in front of you while putting on a great interactive show. The food is spot on and made to order while you watch and includes soup, rice, and mixed vegetables in addition to your entree. For the price and entertainment you cant go wrong! Leaving with left overs and I am full. Highly recommended. The Staff here is extremely helpful and friendly.

It was just okay. The chef seemed to be afraid of flavor. He lightly seasoned some of the food and used very little of the sauces. He also put a very tiny amount of butter on things. Definitely not like the Japanese steak houses I have been too thatwere over the top with flavors, sauces, and butter. The yum yum sauce was okay and the ginger sauce needed a whole lot moreginger in it. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly but lacked that deep rich flavor. It was just mediocre. The chef seemed hesitant to embrace bold flavors. Some dishes were slightly spiced, but the sauces were largely underutilized. He also used very little butter on the dishes. This experience was definitely not comparable to the Japanese steakhouses I've visited, where flavors, sauces, and butter are abundant. The yam sauce was decent, but the ginger sauce could have used much more ginger. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, but it lacked that rich, deep flavor. The rice was still crunchy, which was disappointing. While nothing was inedible, I felt that for $100, I didn't get my money's worth.

You've been coming here for 8-10 years? Did I get the Hibachi life? Do they CHANGE the recipe on the yum-yum sauce the ginger sauce it was terrible, more watery on both, the yum-yum did not have the pink color, texture or taste. What a disappointment?.
