"Went to Sandy's Pub the other night with my family for dinner. We were sat right away. So I had the cheeseburger and it was very good!! Perfect and juicy. My daughter had a French dip she said it was ok . My other daughter at first ordered the chicken nachos. She did not like them at all cheese was stuck to the paper and she said chips tasted burnt. Also she said some of the cheese was very hard . So we sent them back and she ordered chicken tenders and fries which she enjoyed! My man had the fish and chips. He enjoyed his dish very much."

Good beer selection and tasty food. Good for change of pace from gold coast lodge or the village eats.

Stayed at Squaw Creek and we ordered out after a long day of skiing. Large portions,.easy to call and order and the food was ready in 15 minutes! We couldn't even eat all the fries! Good value right downstairs

The. Worst. Service. Been here a dozen times and it's always been average. Now it's just flat out awful. I'm sad that it's gotten this bad. Food isn't good either. 2/3 meals were wrong. The only good thing was the pretzel. No one like their meals. Won't be back obviously. Visualizza piatti

Bartender Eric who works often, is very attentive and makes delicious drinks! He has a positive attitude and makes sitting at the bar enjoyable. He moves quick on his feet and creates a calm relaxing environment! The rest or the staff is delightful too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sandy's Pub is the place to go for apres after a long day of skiing if you're staying at the Resort at Squaw Creek. (Now called the Everline Resort Spa) The service has been outstanding the couple of times we visited. We also dined here in the summer, and the outdoor patio was a great place to have lunch. There are lots of birds here, and they like the food too! Highly recommend Sandy's Pub!

There was a storm outside and everyone seemed to want a burger that evening. The staff were a little flustered. The host said our party of 2 would not be seated for about 90 minutes. We elected to place an order to go at the bar and got our food in about 20 minutes. We ate in the hotel lobby. Mushroom burger was very good, but be aware, there are no mushrooms in it! Fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them. Vegan salad was large and tasty. Visualizza piatti

Quality of food and quantity needs significant improvement. The price range is extremely high as a wing appetizer is $21 and French dip is $26, yet takes like it should be about $10-$15. They also hit you with a service change for no reason listed. Takeout also spilt our ranch in the bag and forgot our cocktail drink. The only positive is both bartenders assisting with takeout were helpful in resolving a few of these issues. NOT ordering from here again despite the convenience. Highly not recommended!

Food was not that good, they didn't have the best selection of food. Form my experience the grilled cheese was good and the French fries. The food was also extremely overpriced it 22$ for fish and chips. The service again ok the people there where nice and kinda knew what they where doing. It said it was a pub but it was more Of a sports bar. Honestly I'd just walk to the village it has better deserts and food there also a nice nature walk over to the village and if you get there before 7 all the shop are open.

"Wow, this place pleasantly surpassed my family 's and my expectations!! We stayed at The Villages at Palisades Tahoe during their Brews, Jazz, Funk Fest this weekend. My party of 5 adults shared three large entrees: Pear Walnut Salad $19 mixed greens perfectly tossed with balsamic dressing with juicy pear and candied walnuts; walnuts and Bosc pear were delicious but could have put more than 1/2 pear, fyi comes with gorgonzola cheese if you 're not a fan of blue cheese Thai Curry Chicken Pizza $36 made fresh to order, sweet yellow curry base with fresh tomatoes and yellow bell peppers with dollops of mascarpone cheese; the dough was sweet and delicious i usually don 't like to eat crust but i left no scraps, def checks off my crust, sauce, and cheese criteria Spaghetti Bolognese $23 al dente pasta with generous meat portions, creamy sauce but not overwhelmingly heavy Water so apparently their water is sourced from the mountains and it was so refreshing and clean, no nasty hard water here The staff were courteous and welcoming despite the festivities outside and within the restaurant. Inside decorations was cozy and reminded me of a rustic cabin. Ambiance wise, the table next to us were a bit loud and kept setting off my watch 's Noise Alarm with decibels reaching 90 so watch out for young kids?? . Parking wise, there 's ample parking within the lot out front overall, wheelchair accessible but might be difficult in the snow. This place deserves to be a staple if you happen to be in North Lake Tahoe region. Oh yeah, they charge you a resort fee and some NLT tax so it 's so negligible, it 's barely worth mentioning. Parking: lots of parking in the lot in front, but may get full during peak days Kid friendliness: gets loud sometimes so may not be the most appropriate for young children Wheelchair accessibility: there is a wheelchair accessible ramp"

"It gives me no pleasure to write this review. For years Plump Jack has been a staple for both locals and visitors to the Valley. Casual, midweek dinners in the cafe, birthdays and big events in the dining room--the food always very good, and the prices high, but not unreasonable. For well over a decade, I have happily recommended it to friends and dined there on a regular basis. What happened? Well, first, it seems, a new chef. A new chef and a new menu. The dishes now offered are either too fussy or too pared down. Cornish Game Hen? Shrimp and Grits? An $80 filet?!! Gone are the stellar burger and satisfying flatbreads. Gone are the great, healthy, seasonal offerings of salmon or lamb. And in their place, diners are left to deliberate between plates of food that offer no comfort, no joy, and no fun. So far, at the new Plump Jack, I have eaten: a lackluster baked ziti more at home at Lanza's with sausage added for an absurd additional price , a stodgy shrimp and grits where the grits shared the consistency of wallpaper paste also, why not more cohesion in the menu? This one sticks out like a sore thumb , a paper-dry pork chop, and a market salad full of rotted bits of bag-o-lettuce. Perhaps, if I weren't so turned off by the price of the filet $80 , I might have had a better dining experience. For reference, the filet at Christy Hill is still sitting at $58 and the filet at Manzanita is only $72, a steal by comparison! . Okay, so Plump Jack has made it clear they're no longer interested in serving local clientele. After all, what fire fighter or teacher in the local school district can afford these prices? It used to be that locals could dine in the bar and leave the higher priced menu items for the dining room. No longer. What's worse, is that, if the food were good, I might not balk at the prices. But the food has decreased in quality and reliability. The truth is, I've given the new Plump Jack enough opportunities to prove to me that the new menu can be a winner and the new prices are justified. At every turn it has failed. We're just going to go to Christy Hill from now on. And, if we want to get gouged for average food, we can always just go to the Ritz at Northstar. RIP old Plump Jack, RIP. Oh, and the situation is so bad I created a Yelp account simply to write this review."
