Dining here absolutely deserves a five-star rating. While the restrooms could use some aesthetic improvements and a few updates, my focus is on the food. Some of the best Chinese/Cantonese food I've had! Definitely a new lunch spot for me! Large amount of food the price! Highly recommend trying this place if you havnt yet! Staff is always friendly. The food was excellent. Very clean place. Huge servings. My husband and I split a plate, they are so big. We had the cashew chicken with steamed white rice and an egg roll. Very reasonable price for the amount of food you get. Clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. We enjoy eating here so much

Super tasty little spot! We often frequent the Harris Teeter next door and decided to venture over this evening for dinner. It looks like a small store front on the outside but was surprisingly big and inviting on the inside! We got the egg drop soup sesame tofu and string beans. Fantastic food and exceptional service! The waitstaff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful. Shanghai's menu features a wide array of authentic Chinese dishes, including several versions of stir-fried yu choy, egg, and tomato, among others, along with popular American Chinese restaurant favorites. The flavors are diverse and delightful, and they even serve a pot of hot tea with your meal. To top it off, their prices are very reasonable.

It's good but simple chinese cuisine restaurant. My wife, myself, and 2 children 13 9 went on Sunday. They had a decent lunch menu. We all enjoyed it except the 9 yr old. He doesn't like change and usually orders chicken fingers and fries. He loved the fries but not the chinese style chicken. (Like the chicken for sweet sour chicken). I really enjoyed the General Tso's chicken. I do have a minor issue. It was not spicy at all. But, we still enjoyed Shanghai.

We couldn't miss out on the Chinese New Year dinner at the Shanghai restaurant! The food was absolutely fantastic, and the portions were generous. Everything we ordered was prepared in under 20 minutes. The evening's menu featured appetizers of fried shrimp balls and dumplings, followed by main courses of sesame chicken, sesame beef, and salt and pepper shrimp, accompanied by garlic yu choy. My Chinese mother would definitely be impressed. Even if it's not the same as being in Shanghai, it's quite a treat.
