"I don't even know where to start, but let me just say this: when a skilled chef gets their hands on high-quality raw ingredients, magic happens. This was one of those rare occasions where I had to pause after every bite and just admire the expertise that went into creating this symphony of flavors. The Duck Rolls were perfectly seasoned slices of duck breast filled with a mix of cream cheese, diced jalapeno peppers, and wrapped in bacon, then baked until golden brown. Adding yet another layer of flavor, they were drizzled with local honey. Five stars. The homemade biscuits were heavenly – flaky, moist, and delicate, complemented by a variety of jellies and old-fashioned syrup. Five stars again. The Deer Camp Meatloaf was a slice of meatloaf atop mashed potatoes and topped with slow-roasted Brussels sprouts infused with balsamic vinegar. Even though I'm not typically a fan of Brussels sprouts, these were amazing. Another five stars. The catfish and cheese grits were also delicious, though I'm not a grits person – they were the only slight downside to this otherwise fantastic meal. 4.5 stars for that dish. The Fried pork chop and red beans and rice were exceptional, with perfectly cooked red beans and rice and a thin, juicy pork chop with just the right amount of breading. This was easily the best meal I've had in years. Well done, Cotton. The ambiance was classy, with calming tunes, amazing artwork, natural wood floors, and exposed brick walls. The customer service was top-notch as well. This meal ticked all the boxes. If you're ever in the Monroe area, don't miss out on this unforgettable experience. And don't forget dessert – it's truly outstanding!"

"Everything is usually pretty good but they always leave out at least one or two things from each meal. They forgot the toast on both dinners cost $25 and my $3.50 add-on of extra cream sauce cup that I was gonna share between my son apos;s meal and mine. My youngest son apos;s meal, which was mostly excited about the fries, came with 3 small half-piece fries. Thats pathetic. My son was so upset because no one else got fries. I apos;ll get the same meals again, but ill call up there to order and pick up myself so I can check the bags for everything before leaving. Still love my walk-ons!! Walk-on apos;s food was good but their service to the DoorDash customer was not. This happens every time I order door dash never when I call and pick it up."

"I will not be going back. They have gotten me twice with a sour salads. I went in and picked up a grab and go salad about six months ago. I thought I had selected a decent salad. However, when I got home, I was unpleasantly surprised that the lettuce on the bottom of the salad was already old. I thought I would give them another try so I went inside and ordered a salad to go with specific directions to hold the tomatoes and add extra cucumbers. It was my fault that I did not check the salad before leaving and for assuming it would’ve been made fresh. However, when I got home, the salad I was given was soured. It appears to me that it was a salad that was removed from the front end because it was too old to be sold. When I opened the top of the salad, you could smell the sour meat and cheese. Needless to say it went in the trash. I did call and speak to a manager who offered to give me another salad. I explained to him it was not my first bad experience for that location but that it would be my last."

"My husband and I have wanted to try Parish out for quite some time and finally had our date night Friday night. The food, atmosphere, and service were all fabulous! We loved the attention to detail in the presentation of the food and the delicious and unique flavor combinations. Shout out to Doran Smith for his excellent service. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent recommendations. Appetizers, entrees, desserts we loved everything we tried. Chef Cory is the best.
