This restaurant is fantastic! The food, service, and overall atmosphere are unbeatable. You definitely have to try the fried green tomatoes; they are the best I've ever had, no contest!

Everything is absolutely delicious! The meat is exceptionally tender. The seating is comfortable, whether you choose to sit inside or outside. This has become one of our favorite places to dine.

Our absolute favorite local BBQ place. We always start with the cheese curds, which are the best I’ve ever had. You can’t go wrong with any of the meats. Even the catfish, which they sometimes have on Fridays or Saturdays, is fantastic. Yesterday I got the combo platter with smoked meatloaf, smoked bologna, and chopped brisket. I’ve only ever had two sides onion rings and potato salad, and they are great. I’ve considered buying a family size side of potato salad to go it is that good. Service is wonderful. Sons of Smoke has a strong local following and seems to be a family-run establishment, which is something I really appreciate. The smoked ribs, which are their signature dish, were excellent with a nice char and rich flavor. Unfortunately, the meat itself was quite dry and had a grainy texture that their sweet and spicy barbecue sauces couldn’t quite fix. I did enjoy the Friday special, the pork tenderloin sandwich, which was pounded thin and well-breaded, giving it both a satisfying crunch and chewiness.
