"My boyfriend and I visited The Anvil in our small town Ste Genevieve for the first time together. The customer service wasn’t how I expected it to be. The employees there weren’t very nice/respectful at all. The food quality was very poor. We picked our food up and by the time we got home our food was cold and soggy and not to mention we paid $3.50 for each side(was about a scoop per side) Keep in mind we live a few minutes away from The Anvil so our food wouldn’t have been cold unless it was sitting out. We paid $40 for a meal that wasn’t worth $10."

"The chips and salsa, so good! We ordered fried mushrooms and they were the freshest I ever had and the fried ravioli was not dry and tasted amazing. Our waitress was very friendly, but a little hard to understand and it wasn't really a problem. We ordered dessert and the silk cake was so good and the peach cooked cup was to die. The menu was very diverse, there was something for every kind of person there, and our food didn't take long to get out. The best part was that the food wasn't fat. The interior of this place it very clean.. This restaurant is a must to see, and although the outside looks a little iffy, it makes the interior worth everything."

"Of all McDonald's, I've eaten this one 9 times of 10, especially. You have really crashed game and have decent teenagers working there. I note that they prepare for local events and have additional employees. No need to check the bag in this hard drive. Today it's been a year since my last review. You have threatened a new building and double drive now and they are still on their game I must say this is the fastest most organized McDonald’s I have ever stopped during a lunch break. Five stars from me."

"Got there at 6:30. Seated immediately. The host forgot about us. We were seated for 30 min. No menus,drinks or service. Finally got their attention. He tells us he didn’t know we were there AFTER he seated us. We Ordered. Every table around us got their meals. 1 hr and 45 min later no dinner food. (We did get our appetizer). Went to the bar to ask for drink bill. Had to tell them after almost 2 hrs we didn’t get our food. Tickets were still in the waiters pockets. Yes, he felt terrible. Yes he was a kind man but the service was just beyond terrible. We were literally forgotten except for drinks for 2 hrs. We had to ask for menus and get our own napkins and silverware for the appetizer. I will say El San Felipe Mexican restaurant was the bomb diggity. Don’t count this restaurant out but maybe just help remind them if they are busy. Service: 1"
