"I really like this subway, the night staff is always friendly and inviting. The afternoon staff however, is a completely different story. After stopping in to grab lunch today I have made the decision that I am not going to this subway for lunch anymore. It started off fairly normal, I ordered my two sandwiches and they were sent to the veggies station. The woman with the veggies seemed to be struggling a bit, which I completely understand as she 's new. Then the man who I assume is the noontime manager came out from the back and saw her adding my avocado and sort of berated her for doing it incorrectly. She mentioned that she was not trained on how to do it properly and that she basically has to train herself. He then looked at me and said "In the future, you should ask for avocado sooner because it 's a pain in the ass. "I apologized because he seemed genuinely upset that I waited until the end. Every other time I have gotten avocado on a sub, it was after the other veggies and I was not it was an issue, so that may be on me. That being said I didn 't appreciate how I was talked to by him and how he made me feel like I was the biggest inconvenience because I asked for avocado too late. I 've worked in customer service before, and I 've had my fair share of annoying customers. I go out of my way to be understanding to restaurant/ customer service workers. Today I was made to feel like I was the most annoying customer. If the nighttime staff wasn 't so awesome, I would 've rated 1 star."

Small place. Often busy. But with competent, friendly staff. I never waited long. Always good food properly prepared. Good place between hotels when you visit Pierre.

The service on Sioux Avenue has declined recently, and the sandwiches are poorly made and overpriced. Paying $27 for two sandwiches is quite steep, even by today's economic standards.

Love this subway. They are always really nice and get our order done right away. But tonight the guy mad all our subs really good. I feel like he put everything on there perfect. Perfect amount of everything and still got it all done quick. And the lady working it always always very helpful and friendly!!

I went through Pierre and stopped on the subway on Sunday (8/1) at 7 p.m. I want to give the guys who worked just one cuddos. You did such a great job! There was no person in the restaurant and two workers were at the counter when I came in. You made my sandwich right away. All ingredients were ready, even with him after dinner rush. Honestly, one of the best underground experiences I had. Oh and shortly after I left, they were disinfected to the door entrance. Just beyond and beyond. Well done, guys!
