"This is our go-to place when we want great food and good service. Today was no different. It’s Mother’s Day and we showed up for lunch without reservations. We waited over an hour, but we didn’t mind because four of our favorite friends were with us. We enjoyed visiting with each other as well as with other guests waiting in line with us. The place was busy, but our server kept a close eye on us. I ordered the green chile stew, my wife got the steak fajitas, and one of our friends had carne adovada. I didn’t catch what the rest got. My meal was good. Not too spicy, but the portion was larger than I could handle. The food was at a good temperature, I don’t like warm or cool food. At the end of our meal our server gave the women a single stem red rose. We’ve never been disappointed here and we always recommend it! If you’re looking for good Mexican food without the fast food feel and taste then this is the place for you."

"Keep in mind this review is for at the price point Good Pina Colada, though oddly I wasn't asked to show my ID (and I definitely should have been) Waitress was very friendly, and the shrimp mango salad was as expected (canned mango and beets, but worked well with the dressing it came with on the menu, otherwise canned beets would be awful for the price point) Shrimp was seasoned very well, and my mother's shrimp cocktail was excellent and a larger than expected serving for the low price. Would definitely recommend this place, as it is well known locally for good New Mexican Food for a good price, especially in this economy (2022 2023)"

"We have been there several times and had good experiences. This experience was not very good. They have a great wine selection that the wine menu did not reflect. It was missing several pages! Service was rushed! I told the waiter we were not in a hurry. Salad was brought out prior to us finishing our aperitif and appetizers. Then shortly after the main course came out after we just started our salads. Sent them back and told them we wanted them recooked. Come to find out they were not our order and was sent to another table. In the end the steak was excellent!"

"This visit was a far cry from our previous experience, where we enjoyed excellent service and delicious food. Unfortunately, my partner's ribeye steak was served cold, and despite their attempts to warm it up, it remained chilly. For a restaurant of this caliber, especially for one of the more expensive menu items, this was completely unacceptable. While the rest of the food was good, the service left much to be desired. Although the restaurant was busy, there were other servers attending to other tables. We appreciated that we weren't charged for the ribeye since it was ultimately sent back, but it would have been a better gesture to offer a complimentary item, like drinks or another dish. We addressed our concerns with the server rather than blaming the restaurant itself. We were also quite disappointed that the halibut had been removed from the menu, as that was a dish my partner and our friend were really looking forward to. Given this experience and the poor service, we will likely not return."
