"First time there and absolutely horrible experience! It?s 35 degrees outside they have the air conditioner blasting! Ordered spring rolls they were mushy and not cooked long enough. Ordered steak chicken and shrimp hibachi. We sat at a regular table.and when they brought the food I literally had to pick all the vegetables out because they were over cooked so bad they were mush! They made new vegetables but now my rice and meat is ice cold due to it freezing inside. My fiancé had lobster and filet mignon and that definitely wasn?t filet mignon.. complained to the manager Zach who felt that a $10 discount would be suffice on a $115.00 bill of food that stayed on the table! Definitely was ripped off by Zach."

It's a local favorite for us. The restaurant is consistently good, clean, and quiet, with always excellent service. Since I'm not a seafood eater, I can't comment on that aspect, but everything else has been great!

After a speech recital we drove here to celebrate. We were a party of 9 and it was 15 minutes waiting. Within 5 minutes they decided to bring us to the private room. Wonderful experience. The price is typical of Hibachi meals. I would highly recommend this place.

The night we left, they had only 2 chefs for Kovid. Customer service was great and they could not take our party of 9 long after opening. We had Sushi and Hibachi. They seemed to rush through cooking, but we understood that they were short staff. I love their fried rice, but wished that they contain more vegetables with the Hibachi plates. If you are looking for Japanese food around Pauling, do not look further than Takis. Prices of about 20-40 a person, but the next best would be hibachi express and this blows that out of the water. Meals are included with more than enough food and you always come hungry and leave happy. Make sure to tap and cook your waiters are all well trained and offer consistent quality in an entertaining and comfortable atmosphere!
