"It was my first time there in two years And the food was still good. I always sit at the sushi bar and when doing so I’m always given a complementary appetizer, which today was crab tempura salad. The food was good and didn’t take too much time tocome out. I’m giving it a four star because on first arriving we were seated and left unattended for almost 10 minutes beforewe were even given water. I also didn’t like when I asked the waitress if I could have my sushi with the rice on the outsideof the nori instead of the inside she told me it would be an up charge. This is something I’ve never heard of at anyrestaurant, so I immediately bypassed her and went straight to the sushi guy and he told me that that was not correct, that theyhave never done that before. So I’m not sure if she just made that up off the top of her head for whatever reason or wasattempting to get extra money from me. It wasn’t a really busy day and there were plenty of waitresses to meet the need of thecustomers but they weren’t really attentive either. Other than that I would still visit again but it wouldn’t be my firstchoice"

It's a local favorite for us. The restaurant is consistently good, clean, and quiet, with always excellent service. Since I'm not a seafood eater, I can't comment on that aspect, but everything else has been great!

Excellent Sushi.... Southside is my favorite. Hibachi is always great! I have been eating here for over 10 years...never has let me down Update: This is still our favorite hibachi and sushi... haven't found anywhere better yet.

Service is always great. Super friendly and accommodating. I question sanitary measures at times with small things that catch my eye. Food allergies are considering, however cross contamination still occurs. Overall, food good sushi roll much better. View menu

If you're looking for Japanese food around paulding look no further than Takis. Prices of about 20-40 a person but the next best thing would be hibachi express and this blows that out of the water. Meals are inclusive with more than enough food and you'll always come hungry and leave happy. Make sure to tip your waiters and cook they are all trained well and provide consistent quality in a fun and comfortable atmosphere!

First time there and absolutely horrible experience! It?s 35 degrees outside they have the air conditioner blasting! Ordered spring rolls they were mushy and not cooked long enough. Ordered steak chicken and shrimp hibachi. We sat at a regular table.and when they brought the food I literally had to pick all the vegetables out because they were over cooked so bad they were mush! They made new vegetables but now my rice and meat is ice cold due to it freezing inside. My fiancé had lobster and filet mignon and that definitely wasn?t filet mignon.. complained to the manager Zach who felt that a $10 discount would be suffice on a $115.00 bill of food that stayed on the table!
