Black Lab Coffee in Republic was good. Coffee lattes were very good as was the blueberry muffin. The avocado toast was not the greatest. Very bland, not sure what kind of egg that was, slice of tomato and not sure the avocado was fresh. Sorry. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

"In order are the deep fried apple pie, granddaughters with 1/2 grilled cheese each, onion rings, ham sampler and pulled pork sliders with deep fried pickles. Everthything was above average in flavor and very decent portions. My only stopping point fromgiving 5 stars were the mashed potatoes and gravy were heavily salted and the onion rings were not crispy. A shining light isthe home made deep fried pie. Overall great service, good portions and reasonable prices. Will definitely go again."

If I ever return—which I certainly plan to—I want to personally thank each and every employee for being such wonderful people who have truly impacted my life and helped me create unforgettable memories. Overall, if you’re looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend this restaurant! And don’t forget to order the cheese curds as an appetizer! The smash patty burger with bacon is also a must-try!"

"I walked into the restaurant for the first time and was disappointed by the lack of greeting from the three staff members behind the counter. Unsure of the ordering process, I stood there waiting, but they didn’t even make eye contact with me. They took the order of the person behind me in line first, and I wondered if I should have said something. To make matters worse, they allowed the customer behind me to step up and let their non-service dog jump up and put its paws on the counter, twice, without saying a word. Allowing an animal in a food service establishment is already questionable, but having it place its paws on the counter with its tongue hanging out is just too much for me. Surely there are health codes or at least common sense guidelines that should prevent this situation. It's a shame because the coffee is quite good."

"The first thing noticed was the front appeared disorganized. Next when I order a 11.99 sandwich and the man told me 17.99 plus tax. When I corrected him he stated he thought I'd want all the sides, all without asking. He appeared put off and it took 17 minutes to get my sandwich to go and several people who came in after me we served. The two working the orders also rude to back house group I will say good food, poor management. I wonder how many would have said nothing in my place. Is this how he bumps sales.
