"My boyfriend and I recently moved to 29 Palms and had heard great things about this restaurant. Today, he surprised me with a meal from there and I must say, the Brisket BBQ sandwich was heavenly. The meat was incredibly tender and the croissant crust was flaky and delicious. I also tried their carne asada tacos, which were fantastic, and their pho. The staff was friendly and the owner made sure we were happy. I highly recommend Jelly Donut and we will definitely be returning soon. Thank you, Jelly Donut!"

"By 11:00, the cake was brought out, but only half of the message I requested was written on it, and it was in the wrong color. The staff initially claimed they couldn’t correct it, but after we asked to speak with the manager—who was not available at the moment—they suddenly found a way to make adjustments. By 11:10, the final product was ready, but unfortunately, it still wasn’t the correct color. Although the ice cream was enjoyable and the cake was alright, just be prepared for a less-than-ideal overall experience."

"This is my top spot for ice cream worldwide. They offer a wide range of flavors and in this scorching desert climate, there's nothing better. I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit. In addition to ice cream, they also serve hamburgers and a variety of other menu items. They have much more to offer than just desserts, so be sure to give them a try."

"Pizza and many other Italian dishes that all were fresh and tasty. The pizza sauce wasn't overly sweet and I appreciated that the parmesan on the table tasted like it was blended with other cheeses. We also had the antipasto salad with Italian dressing which was excellent and washed it down with a local brew. Seating is plentiful for small and large parties alike. Overall an excellent experience and an only knocking stars off due to the lack of soap and paper towels in the restrooms."

"The menu indicates that the dishes are meant to be shared by 1-2 people. I ordered the $30 lamb chops, but was disappointed to receive only about 2 spoonfuls of rice and 3 small, bony pieces of lamb. My mom's jerk chicken was also undercooked, with an unusually pink color. Most of the other guests in our party opted for burgers, which came without any fries or sides, requiring an additional purchase. Our food was served at different times, with some dishes arriving before our drinks from the bar. Despite making a reservation in advance for my birthday, the staff did not acknowledge the special occasion, simply asking if we had a reservation upon arrival. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived (a party of 8), and the only positive aspect was the attractive decor and ambiance. The music was so loud that we had to shout to communicate with each other. Overall, we were unimpressed and would not return to this overrated establishment."
