"Against my objections my friends asked me to order a chocolate cake with chocolate icing. Usually this would be a chocolate overload and I really was hoping that a professional cake shop would be able to balance the flavors properly. Luckily that hope was proved true, while extremely rich it was not overly chocolatey or sweet. It was a great balance of flavors, and I was the king of the party. I hope to order again, but maybe I can choose the flavors."

I don't know what's happened to their coconut cake but it used to be the best.... but now with the larger (and harder) coconut flakes against the light flaky cake and dense filling, it is simply not tasty and too sweet. So disappointed. Not my favorite anymore.

Enjoyed a chocolate, raspberry buttercream layer cake from the Cakery in Hillsdale near my son and daughter-in-law’s new home. Celebrated their birthdays with a 6 inch multi layer cake. We bought a whole bunch of Cakery cakes for our wedding years ago, and we still speak of it fondly. Doing so saved us a ton of money, our cakes got endless compliments for style and actually tasting good, and we could keep going back to have more on anniversaries or for a special treat. Highly recommended.

Me and my wife compare good things in terms of how many Cakery cupcakes it was. Going as far as calculating pay raises in cupcakes per month. I give the Cakery 5 out of 5 cupcakes for service and product that I've experienced over the years. I would suggest you get 5 cupcakes if you haven't been here yet, and make a few friends.
