"As someone who has been a regular patron of this restaurant for the past decade, I can confidently say that I am thoroughly impressed with the transition from the well-loved “Rock Hill Bakehouse Cafe” to the exciting new “The Exchange Cafe.” The new owners, Sara and Chris Patten, are truly outstanding and have made a concerted effort to please longtime fans of Rock Hill by retaining many beloved menu items, including the Granny Smith Panini, the Curried Chicken Grill, and my personal favorite, the Grown Up Grilled Cheese. At the same time, they’ve introduced some fantastic new dishes like the Slow Roast Panini, the Pulled Pork Sandwich, and a delightful daily breakfast quiche, all masterfully baked by Sara! I highly recommend this locally-owned cafe to anyone passing through, as well as to residents in search of a new favorite dining spot. Keep up the great work!"

her curry chicken sandwich is the best. I also love her Turkish latte. the only problem I found with this place is that it is very busy. I'm sure if they were more open, they would earn more business.

Food was good! I ordered from the original rock hill bake house menu. I have been to the rock hill a few times before and really like that the new owner has preserved the same ambience and many of the same menu items.

I love the new exchange cafe. if you enjoy eating for high quality food, this is the place! the menu is excellent and well thought out, locally served eating and sitting locally in the seat. I and my wife eat several times the week. this is fast to our favorite brunch/lunch spot.

We had breakfast there tomorrow, and it was fantastic! They offer a great selection, and our meals were delightful. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful. I ordered the quiche, which was accompanied by fresh blueberries, strawberries, grapes, and melons. The fruit was perfectly ripe and sweet. The coffee was also good, while my partner enjoyed the classic breakfast of two eggs, ham, and toasted sourdough, all cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning; it’s a must-try! We have been coming here for years, and it's fantastic! They serve amazing coffee, soups, salads, and sandwiches, complemented by freshly baked goods from Rock Hill Bakehouse, including bread, biscotti, muffins, and biscuits. There are also some vegan options available. The daily quiche is a must-try. The menu changes every day with different specials, keeping things exciting. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun, and there are tables by the windows perfect for people-watching. This is our favorite place to eat in Glens Falls.

Highly recommend stopping into the Exchange for a bite ! This location is located right in the heart of Glens Falls and was formerly Rockhill Bakehouse. Rockhill was known for delicious soups, breads, sandwiches, salads and baked goods. The food remains delicious with all of the same elements of Rockhill present. The menu is revamped and there have been interior and exterior improvements which makes an improved atmosphere for patrons. Wishing the new owners the best as they grow their business and excited to see The Exchange continue to grow overtime!

"My husband and I went there for dinner for our anniversary. Started off by being told the table wasn't ready because we were 5 minutes early. Went to the bar for a drink and asked about our table at 7:15 which then was another 2 mins. Bartender was not friendly or even tried to open conversation and threw bottles into trash making pretty loud glass banging noises each time. We are foodies. Ordered candied ribs and lamb spring rolls for apps, taste was amazing and amazing apps. I ordered the brisket lasagna and my husband the seafood B. In all other pictures seen of the brisket it looks as though cut from a layered pan of lasagna, my dish looked more free form and did not have ANY brisket in it. Asked the waiter and he brought me a cup of brisket that were solid chunks. After seeing that, there was less chance of accepting there might have been some in there. Flavor was good but looks as though they threw some noodles, sauce, and a boatload of cheese on to make it look like lasagna or maybe whatever was left in the pan? Idk. My husbands seafood dish had salmon belly in it and no calamari at all in it. After asking, the waiter mentioned there was calamari in it but not squid.... We then were hoping for a good top off for dessert. My husband asked if there was cream in the coconut crème pie, he had to ask, and then they didn't know . Went with the WARM bread pudding. First was ice cold in middle, sent back to get warmed up. Second round still ice cold in middle. Again, flavor was there but cut might have been a bit big and dense to heat up the middle. Def would love to try to go back bc loved the environment and flavors were there. Hoping to go back sometime with a better experience."
