"Without a doubt, this is the best breakfast spot in town. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is clean with a welcoming atmosphere. Everything they serve is fresh, and they even make their own bread! I always enjoy their breakfast options, and I can never resist the black and blue burger—it's fantastic! "Will not EVER eat here again! It was 2 days ago and I 'm still blown away about how disgusting the food was! I ordered a Kogel Chili Omelet with hashbrowns that was actually pretty good. My Wife ordered a BLT Wrap that had old dried out bacon, wilted lettuce, and cheap watered down ranch. I also ordered an appetizer of freezer burned sav-a-lot perogis while our daughter had sav-a-lot mac-n-cheese bites that tasted like cardboard. The server couldn 't care less about the quality of the food after bringing the issues to her attention and instead rewarded us with a $60.00 bill ! Yeah, I said $60, for an Omelet, a wrap, 2 appetizers and 3 drinks! In addition, the bill she gave us said $53 but charged us more! This place has gone so down hill!! I ate here for decades and it was never like this. I new Joe was no longer associated with this place, because he would have never tolerated that type of food quality but I asked and the server said someone named Carla was the owner but not available. Unless you want to be ripped off by food quality and additional charges you weren 't told about I recommend going somewhere else! We will never return!!! SIDE NOTE: The Owner 's Comments on other food and service quality reviews prove this isn 't an isolated experience and that they would rather spend more time ridiculing customers with cynical responses, insults, and diversion than fix the issues."

"First time we visited here. If you just come for the food, you really won 't be disappointed. If this place could update the inside eating area (it 's REALLY outdated), this place would go gangbusters because the food is absolutely OUTSTANDING. It 's almost like the main emphasis is making the bar area appealing when I would argue that you can get liquor quite literally anywhere. The bar should be an afterthought and they should make this place look like more of an inviting restaurant that it wants to be. Because again, the food is unreal. First, let me address the fried mushrooms with Blue Cheese dressing appetizer. They are absolutely COLOSSAL in size. Almost disturbingly so... like: Did they get these mushrooms from Chernobyl kind of disturbing... but in a good way?? Each one is about 3/4 the size of a tennis ball, no exaggeration. Plus, they give you a TON of them. It was just my wife and I, and we couldn 't finish them, got through half and we were starving. Barely got through our meals too, and were stuffed to the gills. I 've honestly never in my life seen a place actually kill it with portion size, especially on an appetizer. Usually places barely give you anything and charge a stupid amount for it. Not this place. Holy cow. Onto the blue cheese. We came here because I read a review about how delicious it was. I was like, We 'll see... They weren 't wrong. If you like blue cheese, you will adore this stuff. I 'm not entirely convinced it 's not the lighthouse brand in the jar, very thick with huge chunks of blue cheese in it, but this tastes even better than that. My wife even said it 's the best she 's ever had. I agree. It has a lot of dill in it too, which just makes it taste even better. Trust me, if you 're a fan of blue cheese you 'll love it. The cheese soup they have? OMG... Absolutely scrumptious. I only got a cup because she pointed to someone having a bowl and it was GIGANTIC... I thought, no way can I eat that much. One bite in I regretted that decision because of how good it was. As for wait service, I would say it was about average. That can always be hit or miss of course, and in our experience the gal was nice enough she just wasn 't super attentive or really FRIENDLY (so to speak) but she wasn 't bad either. Refilled our drinks fairly promptly and checked once or twice on us. Just seemed a bit preoccupied even though it wasn 't busy...but again, that 's not a knock against her by any means... from our experience, it just wasn 't anything really special, just kind of average and decent service. So in closing, if you come for the food, you really won 't go away hungry or disappointed."
